Ed to appear on Acoustic Cafe Series in Connecticut
Ed Kowalczyk will be performing some songs on 96.5 TIC-FM's Acoustic Cafe Series, to be held on April 21st in Hartford, Connecticut. No more information on this event is available at this time. Release of a live CD & DVD is possible in near future
According to a recent news update on Denver's Mix 100 FM website, Ed mentioned that Live may release a concert album and/or a live DVD sometime in the near future. Ed is quoted as saying, "We have yet also to do a commercial DVD. Just again, not for lack of wanting to but for lack of just kind of like getting it together in a kind of package and the kind of show that we really want to do it so logistically we are working it out. Ed to perform solo acoustic show in Houston
Ed Kowalczyk will be performing a free solo acoustic show at Club Roxy in Houston, Texas on April 13th. This event is sponsored by Houston's Mix 96.5 radio station, and will take place between 6 and 8 pm CST. More info on this new date has been added to the Tour Section. Performance on Sharon Osbourne Show moved up to April 16th
Live's performance of "Run Away" on The Sharon Osbourne Show is now slated to air on Friday, April 16th, instead of on April 20th. More information on Chula Vista concert
Live's concert on June 6th at Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California will be part of Suzuki's Rock 'N' Roll Marathon's post race events. Live will be performing around 8pm, after the awards for the race have been given out. Tickets, which are $25 (and are free to those who enter the race or who volunteer at the race) are on-sale now. Live confirm 3 more tour dates
Live have confirmed 3 more new tour dates for their upcoming Spring tour of America. The first new date is scheduled for June 18th in Birmingham, Alabama at the City Stages festival (Live will perform on the Miller Stage around 10:30 pm). The second new date is scheduled for June 19th in Jackson, Mississippi at the Jubilee Jam (Live will perform on the Trustmark Stage at 11 pm). And the last new date is scheduled for June 27th in Sacromento, California at "A Day In The Zone" festival at Discovery Park (Live will be the 2nd to last act to perform). I have posted a new recording from the February 23rd, 2004 concert at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis, Missouri to the Featured Concerts Section. Update on Ed's solo performance to be held in Dallas
Officials organizing the "Main Street Live" concert series in Dallas, Texas have corrected an earlier press release that was posted on their website (DowntownDallas.com). They had posted that Ed would be showcasing new material from his new solo album, but meant to post that Ed would be showcasing the new single from the new Live album. His performance will be approximately half an hour and will be held on April 14th at Pegasus Plaza in dowtown Dallas. * posted march 19th, 2004

There are still many more entries to be posted though, so voting for the contest will not begin until Monday, March 29th. Ed to showcase new material for upcoming solo album in Dallas?
According to the Downtown Dallas website, Ed Kowalczyk is slated to perform solo on April 14th in Dallas, Texas as part of the "Main Street Live" concerts (which admission to is free). According to the recent press release, Ed will be showcasing material from his new solo album during a "show opening mini-set" at this event. This is the first that we have heard of a new solo album from Ed, so this may be inaccurate info. As of now, this has yet to be confirmed, so please don't read to far into it until something official is posted. Run Away enters Top 40 on new Hot AC Chart
After only 2 weeks after it's official release to radio, Live's new single, "Run Away", has entered the new Top 40 chart for the Hot AC format (which lists the top 40 most played songs), debuting at number 40 with 259 spins. "Run Away" also continues to take off at radio stations across the nation, continuing to remain the most added song in the Hot AC radio format. * posted march 16th, 2004
 
New article promoting Cambridge concert
The new issue of the Manchester Institute of Technology's (MIT) newspaper, "The Tech", has a new article promoting the upcoming Live concert on April 24th at their campus. Live confirm 4 more new tour dates
Live have confirmed 4 new tour dates in the United States. On April 30th, Live will be performing a private show at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri at 8:15 pm. On May 2nd, Live will be performing at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tennesee, at approximately 7:25 pm. Tickets for this event, which are $19.50 for 1 day, went on-sale today at 3pm via Ticketmaster (a link to purchase tickets has been added to the Tour Section). On May 22nd, Live will be performing at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina at 3 pm (they will be performing before the main race). And on June 6th, Live will be performing at Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California at 8 pm.
