I tried watching it last week. I'd say with the camera work it's pretty much unwatchable. I wish they would have done a DVD during the SS Tour.

although it would be an awesome timing to film their shows, we wouldnt have the same high quality experience than now it's filmed in 2008

Really, that's why you would be against it? The musical quality would surely close and blow away the gap in production and HD levels.

Paradiso isn't even in HD, it may have been shot in HD but since they did not release a Blu-ray of the concert, all we have is the 480p non-HD version. With that, I'd think something shot in 1999 and released also on DVD, but from a much better era of Live, would be the superior product by a long shot.

Quality. First of all the concert(s) are horrible later Live shows. Secondly, the camera work drives me crazy.

And have you seen the menu page? - Looks like it could have been from the early 90's.

Give me a DVD of the Live show at the State Theater in Detroit during the SS tour when they rocked out MJ, TC, and SS songs and Ed brought strippers on stage that he met on the Howard Stern show the night before and brought them over to Detroit for the show. I'm sure the only mention of Jesus on that trip was those whores screaming while in the Wheelbarrow position (which Ed once stated in an interview that I read was his favorite) by the hottest band in the land. - God, what the fuck happened to him sad.gif Ed you to be a real rock star!

That's the type of Live performance I loved!

against it? Me? against having a LIVE DVD filmed in the SS era? I think you misunderstood me!

all I meant to say is that I think all the concert DVD's that I have shot post - say 2005 - look way better then everything shot before, wheter it's amazing musically or not.

In terms of video quality? Maybe.

When I watched Live in Paradiso the first and the last time in February 2009, Mirror Song made me cry.

That's all I have to say on topic

Who says that there should only be 1 Live DVD? If Live was like every other big band in the 90's, they should have released multiple DVDs throughout their career.

If I were in Live, I would definitely make Ed's management and (if there is any) CCP management get the fuck together at last and agree that MTV unplugged and dozens (ok, a couple) other shows of their should be edited and put out as DVDs for the sake of money or whatever and this would be the best thing for the fans and maybe even some interest revitalization.

They should really have had a DVD per album cycle. No excuses.

They probably did but Ed stole all of the proceeds from the rest of the band and never told anyone about it.

I heard that they did but he physically stole all the DVDs. Turned up in the middle of the night wearing a balaclava lugging them out in a wheelbarrow. This lead to CG screaming "Ed!!!!!!" in a comical fashion each morning upon discovering the break in.

Ed probably had them edited to where the concert looked like it was just him.
