lets hope they add some sort of "policy" to their website. simply stating they will allow it, doesnt really do much when you are at the door and the club is not properly informed. this has happened to me a lot. once i see a policy, i will be jumping for joy smile.gif

Ha, that was me on facebook...

If no policy is posted, I will just show up early to the venue (Cincy will be my first show) and hope one of the guys will be around to let the venue security know its ok. Sometimes, they will just let you walk in, set up, record and leave. Different clubs police different things.

Columbus @The Newport will be different. Ive had problems w/ them before.

I recently upgraded to one of these: Tascam DR-2d.

Coupled with Sound Professionals Premium Cardioids and a battery box should yield decent results. Though, if video is cool with the band I'd much rather do that smile.gif
