Well said. Great venue and crowd. The band seemed to be in great spirits once they got into the show(3-4 songs in). Gas Hed was done really well last night. It was also the best version of Hold Me Up that I've heard yet. Only a 75 minute set-time due to 2 openers, but they fit the time well.

It will be tough for Long Island to beat the crowd last night in Cleveland.

THE NY crowd will BEAT the OHIO crowd simply cause I will be there ROCKIN MY ASS off

The NY crowd really outdid themselves tonight. The show was so much better than last years, it wasn't even close. The band was on fire from the first song. Great interaction on stage and with the audience from everyone. Similar setlist to Cleveland, but no Supernatural. We did get They Stood Up for Live and The Distance in its place.
During White Discussion Ed spoke of it being a special night and thanked us for the support the last 20 years. He also spoke about how the band spanned at least 3 presidents and that no one knows what will happen tomorrow, but tonight is what counts.

The show was treated like an ending. I was happy to have had the chance to say goodbye.

So that's it? No Public Affection tunes, no rarities, no anything special in the setlist? No 3 hour, let's-never-fucking-stop gig? Not even for their last show among clearly emotional and appreciative fans?

To quote the greatest American poet of all-time:

This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

The show was fitting, and it rocked. No way was it a whimper for those in attendance.

what I saw;
* not the BEST show, but not bad,scale 1-10 (8)
* no tears or hugs on stage from the guys
* the crowd was..OK, except for us diehards who really ROCKED
* the venue was WAY LESS then filled
* I was hoping BILLYT would come out on stage after the show for a bow
* the boys looked TIRED
* SORRY, but from what I BELIEVE & FEEL,,,we wont be seeing them back 2gether
* Gracey giving THUMBS UP when we yelled,,NO MORE PLEXIGLASS
* Chad, Pat & Chad looking at eack other a few times like..THIS IS IT!
* alot more "older" of a crowd,,,no NOT just cause of me being there
* alot of empty front row seats

I would have bet that the OHIO crowd was MORE PUMPED??

..just my .2 cents with more to come soon..PIX! happy.gif

I thought that there was well over 2000 people there. Empty seats to the back of a few sections, but overall the venue was pretty full. I thought the crowd was pretty rocking as well.
