As it is hard for anyone to lose someone who they hold close to their heart. Maybe that is why I so connect with shinedown....during the last year and half...I found happiness in someone I thought was forever and had to say "good bye" to him forever. The lyrics of shinedown and the angst of life the music portrays is so real to me that I find, found solace in the music, Brent's voice.

DAMN................i love shinedown................

Oh yeah, I love the new video, it's simple but really effective. I love the sweeping camera and slow mo shots adn everything. Brent also looks like Ozzy!!! lol.gif

LOL....Brent does look like Ozzy but B is a million times a better musician and better looking!!!!!!!

LOVE the bac bend action of Nick, too. The vid is tight and love the crisp interpretation of the song~the guys just doing their thing and letting the lyrics make the point, not the visuals.

Have I mentioned I LOVE this band?!?!?!?!

I still haven't got my physical copy of the album (that implies I have a digital version, which I don't), I'm waiting on a girl in America to send me one. But it'll be worth the wait, teeeerrrrrrust me.

And yeah, I'm still totally in love with this album. Really looking forward to discovering which song will be released next for the readio. Sound of Madness? Breaking Inside?

Hmmmm....Breaking Inside....a bit different sound than Devour.

I was in the Lids store at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN, and Devour started playing. Mini Mollie #2 said, "Hey, Mom!!! Its Shinedown!" and then broke out into an air guiatr version of either Nick or Zach!!! This is the same mini at 5 who would walk around singing, "Did you give it up? Did you give it up?" guitar.gif

I LOVE being a Mom!!!!

PS. She started playing electric guitar this winter and she loves it!!! smile.gif

This October Disturbed are embarking upon a tour of the UK, and guess who's co-headlining? Oh yes, THE ALMIGHTY SHINEDOWN! AND I HAVE TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!76!6!!&!&9!!!!1!!one!!!!plenty!!!!1

I am so amazingly stoked, not only am I getting to see SHINEDOWN but Disturbed as well! I can't believe it, I am going to see Shinedown in concert. I'm going to the date in Nottingham, as it's a closer location and we also know the area a bit better, which is always a bonus.

I AM SEEING SHINEDOWN IN CONCERT THIS OCTOBER! FUCK YEAH! FUCK YEAH! FUCK FUCK FUCK YEAH! FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK YEAH! FUCK YEAAAAAAAAH!

In other news, I'm waiting somewhat impatiently for more Shinedown tabs to appear on UltimateGuitar. Chords were put up for Call Me recently, but they were pretty poor. I can't wait for more to come in, I want to play them but I'm not good enough to figure them out myself. Come on people, tab Shinedown!!!
