They've made music so terrible that it's offended and angered me on a very deep, personal, and emotional level.

i know i'm gonna get blasted for even being here, but i came to a conclusion that i wasn't gonna listen to LIVE anymore, but after about 2 weeks of not listening to them... i realized that i shouldn't let some band have that kind of influence, control, or whatever you want to call it, on me. i felt like if i stop listening..... it's like they won.... they beat me. and, i wasn't gonna let that happen.

plus, i love to play the drums, and lets face it... gracey's drumming is great sounding but pretty simple, so i really like to play the drums to some of LIVE's songs. so, i decided not to stop listening all together, but i def. don't care as much about the band as i used to.

anyway, i just wanted to know exactly what it is that makes you feel the way you do about Live. thanks!

Ok, I'm going to assume that the word "days" up there was a typo, and that you mean to imply that I can't write music as well as live, and that that's what makes me angry.

Ok.


First: I've never claimed that I can write music of higher quality than the music live writes, so your accusation that I can't is both uninflamatory and ineffective.

Second: You've never heard any music that I've written, so I don't know how you can presume to know it's quality. In what way, without hearing anything I've ever written, is it "obvious" that I can't write music as well as they can? This statement is clearly completely unfounded.

Third: The fact that they're "making a good living" writing music is entirely irrelevant. Unless you believe the only goal in art is to sell as much of your art as possible, you wouldn't introduce their financial success into a discussion about the quality of their work. Is this what you believe?
