Actually if you read the original thread on this picture over at FOL, it was posted in such a way that it wasn't readily visible to people just cruising through, someone went through the archive to get to the entry. Be that as it may, it was and IS his to post, not yours. And there's a big difference between his abandoned little journal and a busy message board.

So, actually, my stance is the same. It should be removed, if for no other reason than because he asked that it be. Plus, it's just in poor taste to post pictures of other people's children

Actually No if you Google Ed's name that is what you shall find. It was the 2nd photo. If we can find a way to crop out his daughter I am OK with that but the picture of Ed should stay. I find it funny but it is also great that he is willing to dress up for his daughter. To me it is respectful.

Exactly. If you put up something on the internet and leave it up like that, there's obviously gonna be a chance that it gets posted around (if you're a celebrity anyway). I'm pretty sure Ed knew this when putting it up in a place where hundreds of his devoted fans look.

Fine, ignore the fact that it's Ed's to post, not yours. And that even if it can be found with a search, that's still different than someone without rights to it posting it on a board and also ignore the fact that it's pretty clear Ed has asked that it not be posted on message boards.

It's an adorable picture, no one is arguing with that. One of the sweetest things i've ever seen and when i first saw it made me adore that damn Eddie even more. But i didn't run to post it anywhere, because it wasn't mine. And even if i had a lapse of good taste and went posting it all about, i'd have CERTAINLY airbrused his little girl's face out or cropped her out all together.

It's basic common sense and common decency.

I find it hypocritical that these two statements would be paired together in your response. You make yourself appear to be a stereotyping bigot.

I agree with you regarding the premise of not posting pictures of another person's children. It's wrong. I just wish you had thought before you wrote.
