i think it had LESS to do with Ed not liking that picture (give me a break) than with him not liking the fact that his young daughter's face was plastered all over every message board in town within 24 hours.

He asked Jimmy to ask anyone who had it or was posting it to STOP.

Anyone in the public eye doesn't really relish the idea that crazed fans could pick their children out of a lineup. Yes, originally Ed posted it in his own blog, but when he realized it had become message board fodder, he removed it and asked anyone else who posted it to do the same.

Please respect the man's wishes and his family's privacy.

Remove it.

It was funny. Today on the radio they were talking about the new VH1 show coming out called Flavor of Rock. Its going to feature a well know 90's rock artists. They listed off some of the rumored candidates: Duritz, Jenkins, Durst and while they were reading the press release someone yelled out ED KOWALCYZK! It was funny, but good to hear his name actually mention on the radio.

Actually if you read the original thread on this picture over at FOL, it was posted in such a way that it wasn't readily visible to people just cruising through, someone went through the archive to get to the entry. Be that as it may, it was and IS his to post, not yours. And there's a big difference between his abandoned little journal and a busy message board.

So, actually, my stance is the same. It should be removed, if for no other reason than because he asked that it be. Plus, it's just in poor taste to post pictures of other people's children
