Where is that assclown anyway.....trial date is up next week.... Ed sounds like he settling or lying on this WIS interview.....

Hey what's up... New member here. Been a fan since 94 when living in a 3rd world country a foreigner showed up w Mental J and Throwing and made copies for me. Listened to Live in the jungle for a year before returning to the states, and the rest is history. Seen Live twice in the 90's, seen Ed solo once recently, which is what rekindled my interest.

Hi +Live+ fans. My name is Cindy. I'm a 38 yo hair metal fan that happened to see Operation Spirit on MTV back in the day and +Live+ was totally unlike anything I'd ever seen. They were mysterious to me & I had to get the album. From there I rocked Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi all through my college years & those two are still in my top ten list of best albums of all time. Like many other fans, the latter albums don't do much for me, although in all weirdness some of my favorite +Live+ songs come from those albums such as Voodoo Lady, Where the Fishes Go, Like I Do... Go figure. And Heaven and Mystery are in my playlist too. Sadly, I never got to see +Live+ in concert, something I am in mourning over. I don't know how it happened... Too poor to go while in college and then my first teaching job relocated me from St. Louis area to San Antonio TX (where I currently reside), a place where I don't think +Live+ or Ed have ever played in their existence!? I'd love to see Ed solo, just because. Where I stand on that whole thing is, I don't mind if he now says, "what a man was 10,000 years ago means everything to me." But I can't stomach his new solo stuff, and to think that the same man who rocked my face off with "White Discussion" now sings a song like "Seven" makes me very, very sad. I miss the old Ed. He was my boo. I've tried to listen to the new Shinn +Live+ and just can't seem to finish the You Tube vid before I have to turn it off. I miss the other boys too and that makes me sadder. Maybe one day... Never say never... The old VH1 show "Bands Reunited" needs to come back on air and work some magic with +Live+.
With that said, I'm glad to be here. I've actually lurked in this site for years; come here to get the latest news & all. Other than my job & my kids, music is life. Rock on. rockin.gif
