Apparently a lot of people totally skip the fansoflive.com homepage and come directly to the message board. That's understandable (I used to do it as well) but it has resulted in missing out on certain updates.

Every time an update is made to the website (eg. tour dates, setlists, news items are added) I will also make a mention of it in this thread.

So here goes:

Feb 19th - Added a YouTube links page.
Mar 9th - Added setlists for the Alpine, Las Vegas and Anaheim shows.
Mar 9th - Temporarily replaced the random image on the homepage with a link to the online store at www.friendsoflive.com
Mar 10th - Added the Enoch, Alberta - Canada tour date to the tour page. Also made some minor setlist changes to the Alpine, Las Vegas and Anaheim shows.
Mar 11th - Added a news item about the Night of the Proms in the news section.
Mar 12th - Added a link to an official Live auction to help raise funds for Gordon Paterson.
Mar 13th - Added a news item regarding the confirmation of the Amsterdam shows.
Mar 13th - Added setlist for Washington, DC show.
Mar 14th - Added setlist for Atlantic City, NJ show.
Mar 15th - Added setlist for Sayreville, NJ show.
Mar 17th - Added Den Haag and Stevenage UK tour dates
Mar 18th - Removed Stevenage tour date
Mar 20th - Added 9 Night of the Proms tour dates (Belgium)
Mar 21st - Added links to 6 Official Live items eBay auctions to the news page
Mar 26th - Added the Victoria, BC (Canada) tour date
Mar 28th - Added Jim Thorpe, PA tour date
Mar 30th - Added Washington, DC (DC101 Chili Cook Off) tour date
Apr 1st - Added Oahu, Hawaii date
Apr 2nd - Added Norfolk, VA date
Apr 3rd - Added Nijmegan, Holland date
Apr 4th - Added Glen Allen, VA and Baltimore, MD tour dates
Apr 7th- Fixed the background image on a number of pages so that it is centered.
Apr 7th - Added Ed & Chris Daughtry performance of Helter Skelter in the news section.
Apr 8th - Added Morisson, CO (Red Rocks) tour date
Apr 11th - Added 6 Night of the Proms tour dates for The Netherlands
Apr 14th - Added West Bend, WI tour date
Apr 18th - Added links to Ed and Chris Daughty YouTube videos from Las Vegas
Apr 18th - Added Wiesen, Austria tour date
Apr 19th - Added Ventura, CA tour date
Apr 19th - Added Multimedia forum
Apr 21st - Added Ed appearance at Barack Obama PA rally
Apr 25th - Added Bethlehem tour date
Apr 26th - Added Rochester Hills date
May 1st - Added Kelseyville, CA show to Tour page
May 2nd - Added Toms River, NJ show
May 3rd - Added Los Angeles, CA & Cary, NC shows
- Archived some of the old News items (in progress)

Great idea. I'm sure the band would appreciate the advertising!

Dan, you'd better make it sticky and update it when it comes to updates. Yanno.

Thanks, though it wasn't my idea. Michelle from FOL posted a message on SOY asking for websites to promote the Radiant Sea album. She provided the image as well. I've noticed that there have been an increase in the number of visitors to the message board since the new shows were announced. Hopefully some of those fans will pick up a copy of the CD as well.

Also, if anybody has correct setlists (either through a recording or by them writing it down during the show) could you please send them my way. The Alpine and Las Vegas show setlists are still unconfirmed. Thanks.

Added a link to an auction that is raising money to help support Live's former tour manager Gungi Paterson who has been diagnosed with cancer.

Out of interest, how do you update the site dangum? Do you just alter individual files then re-upload them, or is there a backstage control panel of sorts?

The website is all static HTML. Basically I have a copy of the entire website on my PC. When a change is required, I make a change to each individual HTML file and then FTP the files to the server.

I've had an idea to improve the website. The background is damn cool, but it doesn't look so good when it repeats. To correct this, it could be set to fixed, or maybe set to no-repeat with a background colour that matches the bottom of the image. Just a thought.
