For any fans of Shinedown (or even possible fans who're a bit curious), I recently compiled this for postage on the Shinedown forums. I reckon a few people here might like it too though...

Shinedown... was... amazing. Not only did I get another guitar pick (it hit me on the nose, then I picked it up off the floor), but Zach saw me during the show and pointed to me which was cool. And best of all... check this out... keep watching, it happens at the minute mark(ish).

Lyrically Shinedown is one if not the best in the music business! At first listen they come across like screaming animals on some of their heavier stuff. I bought Leave A Whisper their first and it came across as a dark and depressing until I read the lyrics! I stayed with them. Us And Them came out not some of their best work but still a solid cd again I stayed with them. And then The Sound Of Madness which should get album of the year in my book! Point being I stayed with them regardless of who the line up was? I have The Sound Of Madness up there as one of the best cd’s I have ever bought and the lyric’s are out of this world. Chalk me up as a die hard fan of Shinedown.

Sorry for the late reply on this. Basically, I'm on the Shinedown community forum and am quite a supportive, vocal chap over there. I've shot down haters and thrown some sense into the crazy mix and, in doing so, have rubbed some people the right way. Loyalty and smarts pays out, kids.
