I've seen at least 15 Live shows, and I must say this show was average at best. Live, of course, always puts on a quality show, but this was an average performance for them. The setlist was typical. The usual set Live fans are used to. They performed their version of "walk the line", which is awesome.....Few complaints.....can you close with a different song besides
dance with you? There are better songs on birds of prey besides heaven. Mix the setlist up more. When was the last time they played sparkle, stage, like I do, where fishes go, unsheathed, gas head goes west, the distance, children's song, and sun. How about a tune from V. I would have loved to hear Forvever may not be long enough. I can go on....you get the point. Positives...Live's version of walk the line rocks...white discussion live in concert, as always, is worth the price of admission by itself.....Starland is a great venue for a rockshow.

This was my 3rd time seeing them, and overall it was a very good show. The venue is okay. It is very intimate and you are close to the band no matter where you stand, but it is very very loud and sometimes hard to see (esp. if you are short like me). They opened with Mystery, which in my opinion is the worst song they could open with, but after that the rest of the show was amazing. Mirror Song definitely caught me by surprise. I Alone was great as always. White, Discussion was absolutely unbelievable (I've been wanting to see this one live forever). I actually thought the intro to Sofia (the first song of the first encore) and the song itself was one of the best parts of the show, even though I don't really like the song that much. I am a little disappointed that they didn't play Rattlesnake but very happy with the setlist overall. Live definitely still has it in them to put on great shows every night. The Collective Soul/Counting Crows tour should be incredible. Can't wait to see them again next month in Wilmington!

Best show that I've seen in a really long time. Ed's voice sounded amazing, whatever he's been doing, he's doing it right. I don't think I've heard the man's voice sound that powerful ever. During I Alone, Ed mentioned that the band is going on a 4 month tour starting in July against doctor's orders. He also mentioned that Chad, Pat, Chad, and Adam would be at the shows but he will be replaced by Daughtry. It was pretty funny. No real surprises with the setlist, but I expect a couple a mini-shake-up this summer.

My 14th show, thought it was really good! Probably in the top 5, they were all just very on last nite. The added intros to many of the songs are just awesome! Ed also seemed unusually happy, lots of smiling, and joking around with the crowd! Made for a really cool, high energy show. You could tell he was happy to be there, even said if we keep calling the Starland they will keep coming back! For all the females out there, I have to mention that his body looked in tip top shape, I could tell he's been working out again based on what he looked like when I saw them in the fall. definitely was a bonus!! I will absolutely catch them again in the summer. Hope everyone going to Nokia gets the same caliber show. Have fun.

Awesome show. I have never seen Ed so happy and enthusiastic. Lately, it seems like it takes him a few songs to get rolling but last night he was definitely fired out of a canon from the beginning. He had a lot of fun with the crowd and crowd interaction. Chad Taylor seemed pissed the whole time about technical problems. The crowd was really into it. Overall, the show was definitely in the top shows that I have seen. Thank goodness because the last show I saw was at that hell-hole in Baltimore and I thought that show blew. This show definitely redeemed everything. It was my first time at this venue and I really loved it. Great sound and there is no bad place in the building to see the show. The air conditioning worked great and kept the place real cool. It was smoke free. Safe parking. Just great. All the guys at the after-show were real friendly and had fun. But whoever booked them for VA, NJ, VA, NY should be shot. I wouldn't want to do all that driving.
