WICKED awesome concert last night in Cape Town, It was my 1st ever concert and LIVE out did themselves. They were on stage for well over 2 hours. I cant wait to see them again.

Let me just say that this is one Concert I will never forget!! They were absolutely BRILLIANT! I've been a huge fan since forever and with the setlist they played it brought back such great memories of about 10 years ago!! The croud was absolutely electrical and it was like MAGIC! When Ed started off with "The River" he transferred me into another world and with each new song I got goosebumps!! Ed was smiling all the way and I hope it was as magical for him as it was for us!! I would just like to thank Ed,Chad T,Chad G,Adam and Patrick for the BEST night of my life so far and for them to come back to South Africa as soon as possible!!!!!

Let me start off by saying that it's been two days after the concert and I'm still smiling. I'm on cloud nine and do not plan to come back to earth soon. What an absolutely awesome concert! From the first words of "The River" the crowd of 8,000 or so
sang as if with one voice. At times it was so loud one could hardly hear Ed. The guys were all grinning like Cheshire cats and looked very happy and relaxed. Ed's voice was perfect and the energy was unbelievable! This is my 3rd time seeing the boys and after each of the previous concerts I said there is no way that it can get any better, but it was! Ed said that they left Cape Town for last because we have such a beautiful city and the people are just as beautiful. And yes as reported in the article and other reviews he said that if we keep on asking they'll be coming back. And that it would take a huge natural disaster to keep them from returning. He thanked us all for allowing them to do what they do for 15 years and if he could he would buy 8,000 shots of tequila right now! He also thanked all the backstage personal and their roadies and techies for all their hard work. Chad T was on fire! He had one or two solo spots to show off his tremendous skill with a guitar and I thought that was a nice touch. After an emotional Lightning Crashes and an electrifying White, Discussion, they ended with Dance with You. At this stage we were all more or less in a LIVE trance and everybody kept on singing "we wanna dance with you" during which the guys had a group hug. You could see that they're in such a fantastic personal space at the moment and that they are immensely happy. The lighting was awesome - the best of all the previous concerts. They had a huge beam constructed on the ceiling on which huge spots were mounted and I'm sure I saw cameras, so we may just get some footage of the concert at some time. At the end of the show Ed threw some backstage passes into the crowd, but I was happy because I already had mine safely in hand. The meet and greet was fantastic! Although you could see that they were tired, the guys were as friendly and down to earth as always, making time to pose for pics and to sign things. I managed to talk to all of them and got some stuff autographed. I asked Chad G about the rumoured DVD and also about the possibility that it will contain footage from one
of the SA concerts. He said that they were planning to film the Joburg concert but those plans fell through. When I told him that we've been waiting for a long time for this, he said they too have been waiting a long time for this to happen and that it should be available early next year. It would probably consist of a full concert - which one he could not say. We walked out with Ed as he was the last to leave and I thought by myself now or never... So I said to him, I've promised myself that if I ever got the chance to meet him again, I'll ask if I could touch his head. He very graciously told me to go ahead. After I've given it a good rub he gave me huge hug! What a perfect ending to a more than perfect evening.

I attended the Live concert in Cape Town which was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. I have attended everytime they have come here (3 times), and this was by far the best concert. Looking forward to their next visit!

3 days later and I still have a hangover! Not from drinking or drugs, but from Live and their magic! Very few people can show much emotion. You guys do it so well without being soppy. The name is very apt cause you are ALIVE. We felt that very deep spirituality that it seems you want to project. This universe is a better place with all the band members and their families in it, if what you project is the way you live, and I think it is. Ed's voice was in top form. The crowd interaction was great and funny- at one point Ed said that nothing would keep him from coming back to Cape Town, he would swim if he had to! LOL. All said and done a GREAT show and 'ethereal' experience.
