Well, I totally stuffed up the order of the setlist but thats the songs. Well, what a great night, Shannon Noll opened and all we could say was "get off!". The Palais is a smaller venue that only holds around 3000 people. That being, the worst seat would still be great. Better still we get to see them 3 times in Melbourne, so I got to write this so I don't mix the next two nights up. Yes, I'm going to all three. Live came on around 8:50 and proceeded to kick arse. Man, I just can't believe how great they sound, they just amaze me every time I see them. Ed was great, moving all over the stage, shaking his arse and yes girls finally removing his shirt. Even though the venue was all seating most people stood all night. Well I'm sorry for those sitting behind me, but how can you sit down and listen to Live? (except for a cd on a rainy day). It was hard to hear Ed's voice sometimes, because the crowd were singing soo loud, nothing wrong with that though. It all ended too soon, but we still got two more nights. Just enough time to sleep and eat.

My 4th Live concert, I went Friday night and loved it. I was meeting my friend at 6pm at the tram stop, but got there a bit early, (5.30) due my excitement. So I thought I'd go for a walk past the Palais towards the beach and back. As I'm walking past, I hear them Singing I walk the line, so I kind of stopped walking and just stood there listening. Ed says this is a good version of a great song. I go the other way. I think they do a great version of a good song. Then they played Owner of a Lonely Heart, and Im thinking, hmmmmm...... I don't like this song. (They didn't play it... phew) Anyway, I meet my friend, we have dinner and get there at 7.30. I get my t-shirt, we go in and sit down about 8 ish. What can I say about Shannon Noll? The guy has a zero stage presence. He said something about the next song he was singing and the guy behind me yells out, "Make it your Last". Need I say more? My first thoughts were that I'd rather see them at Rod Laver arena, a bigger venue, but the moment they came out, I changed my mind. I love it when the crowd sing along and on Friday night at The Palais, it was soooo loud. Especially during Heaven, All over you, Lightning Crashes and Selling the drama. Friends had told me that you can't stand at the Palais, but the moment they started All Over You, up we all went. That song is awesome in concert. I stood up and danced when I wanted to, which was what most people did and noone told us to sit down. The start of Lakinis Juice was different. When I saw them on the Awake tour, it was done in the wrong key, but this time the guitar sounded weird. I don't know what they did, I'm not a musician, but it didn't matter. I love watching them when they play it. These guys have been my favourite band since I first heard Throwing Copper. For those of you who think Live should call it quits, I'm thinking, are you serious? I love them more now than I did back then. I walked out of the concert on a high. I'm still on it, lol. Being in the same room as Ed. Sigh..... Ok, so it's a very big room, and there are other people there, but still, for me, it's something special seeing them in concert.
