Although I've been a fan for 10 years, this was my first Live show. I have to say that out of all the concerts I've been to, and I go to ALOT of concerts, this easily ranks among the top 5! I've always heard that Live puts on a great show, and I was certainly not dissapointed. We got there early so we were only like 5 meters from the stage. The setlist was great. I love the fact that they played songs from every album. The only songs I wish they would have done as well were "Rattlesnake" and "Where Fishes Go". I think for me what made the concert extra good was the fact that Ed was so into every song, and you could see that he was really enjoying himself. I love all the poses and handgestures he does - so cool! You could tell that Ed was really pleased when everyone were singing along to the new songs. My favorite song was "White, Discussion" - amazing guitar solo by Chad. Also, I thought it was cool that Ed added a couple of lines from U2's "Bad" in "Iris". To make the night even better I got 2 guitar picks for me and my girlfriend after the show. Thank you Live - please come back soon!

Checking out a show in Europe has been something I've wanted to do for a long time, so it was beyond cool that I could finally make a vacation work logistically with a couple of these shows. On the flip side from the Rockefeller in Norway, Arenan was one of the worst places I was ever at to see a show. It was just this ugly, huge gymnasium/warehouse. If you weren't in the
front 1/3 of this place, you wouldn't even be able to see very well. Anyway, we fought for a decent vantage point in the over-packed crowd, and I was shocked the sound was OK (pity the folks in the back... they couldn't see and I bet the sound was bad). I was hoping they'd mix the set up from the Oslo show I saw, but it was almost identical except for the additions of Voodoo Lady and Shit Towne in the encore... and, no Overcome tonite. They opened with Simple Creed at both places. Since Sweden is home of the famous Smorgasbord, I thought the band would open with Rattlesnake given the first line of the song! (Yes, this is the nonsense that goes through my head... at least it did when I was waiting for them to take the stage). Anyway, it wound up being a solid show. The energy didn't match Oslo, but that was simply due to the venue. The band was great and did what they could, and the lovely Swedish girls around me helped with the atmosphere.
