The show was nuts. The crowd loved it, and you could tell the band had a wonderful time. Taylor was hopping up and down from the time the show started and couldn't tear himself away from the stage at the end of the show because he was waving to people and thanking the crowd. Biggest thing I noticed was the number of obscure songs they played. Looking back at the past couple of setlists, it seems they've been doing that a lot, but I was really surprised to hear Mirror Song, I Walk the Line and Iris at the same show. Voodoo Lady was a plus, as well. White Discussion seemed like it was about to end a couple times and each time Taylor started up his guitar work. At one point, Ed asked him to play like he would on American Idol and Taylor played the first few bars of Mary had a Little Lamb (at least I think that's what it was). Good show, the band seemed to be having a really good time and I think the audience fed off that.

Wow, the show in KC was absolutely incredible to say the least. I had never been to a concert prior to this one, and I must say I couldn't have chosen a better band to go see. My girlfriend and I had a great time watching a thrilling performance. LIVE really rocked the Uptown Theater last night. I was especially blown away by their performances of "White, Discussion" and "Lakini's Juice"... the guitar was blazin', and pumping the whole crowd up. I will, without a doubt, be seeing LIVE again the next time they roll through KC.

Wow! I didn't think it was possible, but my first-ever Live concert blew me away. After being a loyal fan for the past 13 years, I finally got to attend my first Live concert at Kansas City's UpTown Theater last night. I had high expectations, but that was a jaw-dropping performance. If I could have dropped the money again, I would have walked back in for a second show. Actually, I feel like I got see two shows since the encore performance turned out to be at least 6 more songs. Ed's energy on stage was fantastic. He really connected with the audience and made it an experience I will never forget. I was especially impressed by Chad Taylor's performance. Even the people sitting next to me who had seen eight previous shows, raved about the concert. My only disappointment is that I've been unable to attend their previous shows over the past several years. It seems like I've always been out of town when Live is performing. I'll be going out of my way to see them in the future, I can guarantee that!
