Mindblowing. That's all I need to say to describe this show. They didn't play anything they hadn't already at other recent shows, but it really didn't matter because the recently added songs were amazing and I couldn't have asked for more. We ended up right toward the front between CT and Adam; I wanted a change of perspective because I'm usually more toward the center in front of Ed. I'm glad we did that, too...it was amazing to watch CT play right up close like that. Rattlesnake was a great opener. It was actually the first song I'd ever heard live back in 1997, but being 11 years old then, I hardly remember the show at all. I Walk the Line was really good. The crowd went nuts when they played Mirror Song and Iris in the encore, which were both awesome to hear. And White, Discussion rocked more than I remember it ever rocking before. The rest of the set was pretty standard, but excellent. I was surprised that I enjoyed Wings as much as I did, and I think the boys in the band really enjoyed it, too. Even Pat sang along, which I've never seen him do before! And the rest of the new material sounded better live than on the album, as always. I've always believed that they've gotten better and better each time I've seen them in concert, and this show helps back my opinion 110%. You could tell that they were really into it. They all had so much fun throughout the show, joking around with each other and the crowd. It was not like they were just doing their job last night - they wanted to rock out and have fun, and they tore the place down. I'm not saying this because they're my favorite band...I'm saying this because it's the truth this was hands-down the greatest concert that I've ever been to. Ed thanked us for the last 15 years and said that they have at least another 15 left in them. I'm looking forward. [A few pics are located here]

This show was excellent. It was my first time seeing live and I was very impressed. I became a fan When The Distance To Here came out and I honestly don't even own Throwing Copper. I do have seveal others though. Ed and Chad just seemed to be having a blast up there. Smiles and thanks. They just really seemed to enjoy it and that made me gain even more respect for them. They jabbed American Idol which was hilarious. They sounded terrific live. I just really felt the music as they were playing and I think the small venue really made that, It was very intimate. They really made the fans a part of it. I thought the new songs sounded pretty good. I love The River. They write some of the most beautiful songs, yet rock at the same time. It is the one band that me and my girlfriend can love together. I hope they are around for another 25 years like Ed said. This was my first live concert and definitely won't be my last.
