Great show! The songs from the new album sounded great, and the crowd seemed to love them. This band's energy never ceases to amaze this long-time fan, and I can't wait to see them when they tour again this fall!

This concert was absolutely unbelievable. This was my 9th Live concert and it amazes me how the next one always seems better then the last one. The venue itself sucks...lol...I got there an hour early and I thought that was more then enough to get a good standing spot close to the stage. Little did I know that the best available was going to be on the balcony on the side of the stage with 2, 6'2'' guys in front of me...lol. Anyway, for all the time I've seen Live, it was the first I've ever heard Rattlesnake, Mirror Song and Iris in concert. I liked all 3 of them and the crowd seemed to really like the Mirror Song. All of the new songs sounded amazing in concert. I knew all of the words to all of them already, so during those songs, I was looking around to see if I could see anyone else who had learned them and I did find a few. The "stomp" was also in full effect during Lakini's Juice and even made a small appearance during White, Discussion which is always the one song I look forward to hearing every time. Ed did announce that SFBM comes out June 13 (and he threw that in there at least 15 times...lol) and he did say that they would be back to this area in the fall. I'm really hoping he goes to Atlantic City this next time because I don't really wanna stand in the balcony of the Electric Factory for Live. All in all, an amazing show. I can't wait for the CD to come out and for more people to hear those songs. Some of the crowd only knew their Throwing Copper stuff and a few other singles. I would love to see Wings as a single off of this CD because it's my favorite. Alright Live, see ya in the fall! -D

Excellent, high energy show. About two hours of music from the guys. I'm hoarse this morning from singing, yelling and having a great time. It was great to hear Mirror Song played live. Great mix of old and new.

Great show. The boys looked like they were having a blast on stage, the crowd was incredible and very into the show. Nice long two hour setlist. The sound was great and the band was giving out a lot of energy to the crowd. Another great Live show!

Awesome show. They definitely made up for the mediocre concert I saw them play at Penn State two weeks ago. They played Rattlesnake and Mirror Song. I had chills. Chad was slamming down straight Jack out of the bottle between songs and Ed was loving the crowd. I love him. Something crazy is happening to Live and I hope it keeps up. Hooty!

Awesome show... saw them in Sayreville a week before and the energy of this crowd was much better. Mirror Song rocked, Rattlesnake and Iris too. We stood right in front of Chad T and Adam and the two of them had a ton of heart and energy. Can't wait to see them again in the fall. Bring back Freaks or Gas Hed!

We ended up in the very corner on Pat's side, about 4 people back. I decided that since I always see the show from the Adam side, I wanted to watch Pat & Gracey for a change. The opening act was Michael Shapirro, I think. I got a little bored with him by the end, but as far as opening acts go, he was pretty good. Live went on around 9:30 and they played til like 11:30. It was a fantastic set list and a very good show. The guys were rockin out, they were enjoying themselves and they goofed around a tiny bit with each other. The sound was perfect. Rattlesnake was amazing, he even gave me chills when he whisper sang "Enui". I must say, that while I still don't like the new songs I heard live last night, they at least sound better live then they do on that frickin' cd. Ed sings them live in his normal voice and the entire band is heard in full so they don't sound so wussy. And there is a rockin' Taylor solo in Sofia. But I still don't like them and no one can make me! Oh, and in Wings, which I'm sorry, yuck, - there IS a very sweet Adam AND PATRICK round of backing vocals! I noticed the mike stand in front of Pat and I said to Jim, Pat didn't always have a mike did he?! But all night I got chills from the opposite end of the stage when I heard Adam - and Taylor also had his share of backing vocals too. I Walk the Line was beautiful, as was Mirror Song. Lakini and W, D ROCKED. Lakini rocked so much I was jumping around so much I forgot to look at Adam and the shaker! I was pissed at myself! At the end of Overcome, Ed held up his hands first 9 fingers, then 1 and 1 again and I thought that was a nice touch. At the end of Shittowne, Pat, Adam, Ed and Taylor were all lined up next to each other playing. All of them put the guitar out in front of them pointing at the crowd except for Adam. When he saw what everyone else was doing, he quickly did it too and Patrick lost it laughing at him. Pat not only looked great, he also looked like he was having a great time. Ed told the crowd at the end they'd be back in the fall and that they promised not to destroy themselves on the tour and ended with a beautiful Dance with You. That last show I saw (in Bmore last year) sucked for me and I was afraid that they lost it. They might have lost me on the new CD but I was glad to see the band I knew before up there in front of me last night.

So last night at the Electric Factory was my first time ever seeing Live in concert. I was quite pleased with the set list, especially the opener with Rattlesnake. Definitely one of my favorites. And I haven't heard the recording of the new album yet, but all the songs they played last night were tight. I do wish they would have played more "non-hit" tracks than they did. Would have loved to hear Life Marches On, Face & Ghost, Merica.....but I am not at all disappointed. The entire show rocked. Live is just one of those bands that you wish they could play their entire catalog because there is nothing that you don't want to hear!! The opening act was decent. Wasn't painful to wait through like most openers are. He had some catchy/poppy tunes. The bass player was funny as hell though. Every time he would back vox he had this insanely surprised look on his face. The venue itself was pretty cool. Definitely bigger, and better acoustically, than the 930 Club in DC. It had a House of Blues feel too it. My only real complaint is that I think Ed failed to see all the men in the audience. I think he thought it was an all female crowd. And, who is the 5th guy? Adam? What's his story?

Best show I have seen since 2003. Lots of energy by the whole band and a fantastic crowd. I still do not like the new songs but I am in love with "Show." It has the energy that the other songs lack. I can tolerate then in concert but unlike the other CDs, they are not very catchy in the studio. My favorite song from the night had to be "Iris" as it is one of my favorite songs from TC. After about 7 concerts I am glad to hear them playing songs that are not considered hits and hope to hear more of them when they come around again this Fall. I would do anything to hear Deep Enough and Simple Creed from V again or any other songs from Secret Samadhi.

We had a parking spot behind the Electric Factory, walked around to the car after the show, saw the trailers being loaded with LIVE's equipment and quickly realized the boys might come out the back door. Eventually, they did, led by Ed. He came right over to me, my wife and kids and signed and talked and hugged and posed for pics with all the sweetness and patience in the world. In that short time, I realized that he is everything we've understood him to be through his music and everything we hoped him to be as a person. My kids are floating. It was the 7th time we saw LIVE and thsi oen was the best!!!! they gave us everything during - and after - the show. thank you to all of them.

Killer set-list. "Rattlesnake" is a great opener and the band should never forget that and use it more often. I'm glad Live decided to switch up the tunes. Even as a hardcore fan, I was getting tired of the same songs every concert, not to mention their sequential order. "Mirror Song" was a great addition. The older fans especially enjoyed hearing it. Live should always include a few less popular songs into their shows. It gives people something to talk about afterward and remember. I can't say I'm a fan of the new material, but it sounded flawless in concert, nonetheless. A high energy show. It's been their standard since the beginning. They always keep me coming back. I'm looking forward to their Philadelphia area show this fall. My only suggestion to Live would be to play more of the rarities. Live has always been a band of experimentation, without borders, so be bold for once and skip "I Alone" or "Selling the Drama" or "Run to the Water" and play "Stage" or "Unsheathed" or "Meltdown." The audience would approve and accept.

This was my first Live concert and I am so happy that I went. It was just one of those nights that brought my girlfriend and I closer, and was just an amazing spiritual experience. It seemed like they played forever, and no one wanted it to stop! I had always wanted to see White, Discussion performed live and it was amazing. Every song could be that song with different lyrics and I wouldn't mind. They played a great mix of old and new stuff, and Ed is amazing on stage. He simply captures your attention and doesn't let go. Gotta say I love the thinker pose thing, it cracked me up. (I bet my girlfriend liked the fact that Ed was topless lol, I told her I needed to find out what the Ed workout program was). I'm sorry I have been away so long from the band. I have heard their songs on the radio but haven't purchased in a while because... well I'm not sure why. June 13th is coming soon! Man that was an awesome show. One of the top ten I've ever been to. We're talking Tom Petty, NIN, and A Perfect Circle level here, if not greater. Please tell the band thank you. Something about that night has lifted my spirits a bit even two weeks later.

Been to many Live shows, this one is my favorite. Set went good two hours. Played Wings from new album - think its the best song from it. Also surprised with rarely heard in concert - Iris and Mirror Song. Just the best band in my book.

This concert was UN-FREEKIN REAL! Live is like no other band. They keep getting better and better with age. Can't wait to see another show!

I've seen LIVE thirteen times but this show had to be one of my absolute favorites. One, it had been years since they'd actually come to Philly. Two, we'd been wanting to see them at the Electric factory forever and we wormed our way up to the second 'row'. And they opened with "Rattlesnake". As much as I love the band their setlist tends to repeat itself. And they walk in there and blast out Rattlesnake and I was absolutely blown away. The rest of the show was fantastic but nothing beat the utter beautiful shock of that moment before me and my best friend started hugging each other and screaming out heads off. This was one of my favorite setlists so far. There was a mix from the different albums even though it was as heavily TC as always. All the normal songs showed up but the "I Alone" was one of the best performances I’ve ever heard from them. Then there were the new songs - a good showing of them with most of my favorites (Mystery just sounds so much better in person. I love the way Ed trills when he sings it). Patrick was singing too which was a pleasant surprise. Outside of the usual singles we had some rarer stuff and two absolute gems - Iris and Mirror Song. They're just such a great band to see standing room only when the crowd is excited and singing every word along with the band so close to home. Shows like this remind me of why I just keep coming back time and time again to keep seeing them.
