Review by Richard Morby-Smith from South Africa
I was at the Durban Concert and the setlist was pretty much exactly the same as the Johannesburg one with the exception of Voodoo Lady instead of Pain lies on the Riverside.

The concert was awesome and the crowd was fantastic - we were in the golden circle which was magic as we were really close. All the band were so good. The two Chads really dueling things out a couple of times. I have no idea how Chad Gracey keeps it up. He must be totally stuffed after a concert like that. All of them for that matter although Patrick seems quite happy to keep out of the lime-light. Ed doing his usual energetic stuff and really strutting it during Lakinis Juice - doing his fancy arm moves.  Chad Taylor stomping around quite a lot too - he must have been fucking hot in the heavy jacket he was wearing.

The crowd especially loved the old songs and you could see Ed smiling when he let us sing most of  Lightning Crashes and he just sorta hung back a lot on the mike - It looked like they were really enjoying it and getting a good vibe from the crowd. I thought the roof would go off for Lakinis Juice - the crowd went wild. Like I do was a great opener too. The Beauty of Gray really got the crowd moving big time too and is one of my personal favorites. The finish with White, Discussion was so absolutely brilliant - especially when Ed commented before he sang, "I'm pretty fucken sick of my President" - A sentiment held by anyone who cares about this planet at all.

As usual it was too short and it could have gone on all night for the crowd but alas - all good things must end. The venue was magic as it was smaller than last time they were here but I have to complain about the venue which had only one pub outside the area of the concert which was impossible to actually get a drink from - six barman for 5000 people is just not going to work - we couldnít even get juice to sooth our throats from all the singing but a small price to pay for a brilliant performance. Another small complaint - there seemed to be some sort of sound feedback or something while they were playing - fortunately in only happened once or twice for a second or two so no real harm done.
