| Just got back from the EMP show. To
say that the band kicked ass tonight would be an understatement! In a room with such
great acoustics, Live came in and grabbed us, the crowd of 500, held on to us all
tightly and took us up on their own spiritual, peaceful and musical journey that
lasted for over 90 minutes. When the band decided to bring us back down, there we
stood, sweaty, hoarse and glowing!Yes, Live had just rocked our worlds. For me personally,
I had a great view, front and center in front of Ed. The energy and vibe coming off
the stage from the 5 guys was unbelievable. From the opening notes of Like I Do to
the last line of Lightning Crashes, I was definitely feeling like I was in another
place. My first Live show in a year and a half was probably one of the best ever.
The new material holds up SO well live...simply wonderful. A big word of thanks and
peace to Ed, Pat, Chad, Chad and Adam and their crew for a truly amazing night of
music and positivity. At the end of the show, Ed was shaking hands with those in
the front row. He came to me and I hoarsefully let out a "Tha-nks". He
looked at me and smiled, but he knew. The band gave us All they had tonight and this
fan tried to reciprocate the best he could. The show airs 9/16 at 8PM ET/PT &
7PM CT. Wow...what a great night. Thanks for reading. |
