Review by Katie Taylor of Georgia
Molly (sister extraordinaire), Cathy (x-roomie), and pal Rob packed up the car on Sunday morning and headed to Charlotte for yet another kick ass Live show. The ever gracious Mr. G hooked us up with some tickets to the evening's festivities. It was a small venue much reminiscent of a high school gym. I don't do sitting at concerts, so my posse was positioned on Taylor and Adam's side of the stage. Charlotte was a great crowd. I was impressed that the crowd singing was as strong on "Heaven" as the old classics. Usually there is a fallout with only the diehard Live fans singing every words to the new stuff. I was pleasantly surprised with the participation of this crowd. Ed had a huge grin on his face. You could tell that he was lovin' it! Here are some of the other highlights:

1. Ed's excessive pelvic thrusting...he has been working in his down time on some new dance moves. What a riot!

2. Love the Kowalczyk brothers' "Get the fuck up" on Lakini's Juice. It really got the crowd going and made me laugh.

3. Ed's Audioslave medley in "I Alone". I swear his little additions correspond to whatever is in his cd player. Not complaining on this one. I dug it.

4. The complete idiot girl standing by us who was crying during the show and saying to her friends AND I QUOTE..."If they don't play Lightning Strikes I will just die!" I mean you have to just laugh at those people...get a freakin clue.

5. An intoxicated Patrick speaking in Spanish at the meet-n-greet...even adding in some Mexican hat dance moves.

6. Again Patrick (he was in rare form) who started a Busta Rhymes dance party in the dressing room after the meet-n-greet

That is enough highlights. I have to keep some of them for myself!! I will leave you with this...a little bird (with a mohawk and killer stomp) told me that they would be on the road again in October. Rest up for some more roadtrips!

PS - One last thing to add about the show. After the final chord of Lightning Crashes Adam was watching Ed and the boys to see if there would be some White, Discussion. You could see the onstage debate, but in the end the boys headed off the stage. I asked Chad T. what happened to our "W,D" and his response was the classic "We got tired" Gotta love it. Later kids!
