Just got back from the concert in Oslo
last night, at the Rockefeller arena. Due to the fact that this is venue is pretty
small, (there were room for 1400 people) I thought maybe it would affect the band
negatively, that it would be a short show with few
highlights. I was proven dead wrong. Ed looked extremely uplifting, and the crowd
responded.
The best moment for me I guess, was when Ed suddenly in between songs, said: Wow,
we´re in Norway, I can´t believe we´ve made it this far, and still
it feels like we´re in Phila-f*ckin-delphia!! And followed up with: "Somebody
please get me a Budweiser", to a great crowd reaction. Some of the people I´ve
talked to said it was great, but nothing like seeing them in Holland.
After yesterday´s performance I would have to say I totally disagree, the fans
got all they could have asked for, and more to it! |
