Good news for the Aussies, as the Australian tour dates have just surfaced (Friends Of Live is expected to confirm these new dates on October 21st). Live will be performing on: November 30th at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney; December 2nd at the Convention Centre in Brisbane; December 4th at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne; December 5th at Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide; and December 7th at Metro City in Perth. Tickets for all of these dates are slated to go on-sale next Friday (October 29th). Links to purchase tickets have been posted to the Tour Section. * posted october 20th, 2004

New article on Live's recent return to York
A new article on Live appears in the lastest issue of the "In & Around Town" publication in York, Pennsylvania. Stay tuned for a "behind the scenes" article on Live (that also appeared in this publication) to be posted it to the site soon. * posted october 13th, 2004

Live's new single to be released onto Hot AC radio format
I have received word that "We Deal In Dreams" will be officially "going for adds" on Hot AC (Adult Contemporary) radio stations on October 18th. As of now, it doesn't look it will be "going for adds" in either the Alternative or Rock formats (although select stations in these formats may add it to their playlist anyways). Live's last single, "Run Away" (duet with Shelby Lynne) was the first single in their career that had only been released to just the Hot AC radio format. (It looks like "We Deal In Dreams" will most likely follow the same path). * posted october 4th, 2004

New info on "We Deal In Dreams" single
In Holland, "We Deal In Dreams" will be released as a cd single on October 29th. According to Gertjan of Holland, the new single was "world premiered" at the annual Subculture Of Live (official Dutch fanclub) meeting. He reported that the new single is a recent recording that has "no falsetto or fancy stuff", and contains a "slightly heavier chorus" than the old demo that is currently in circulation. (If you haven't heard the old demo version yet, hop on over to the Featured MP3 Section to download it now). [Thanks to Gertjan and Misha of The Subculture Of Live for contributing info towards this update]. * posted october 3rd, 2004

Different tracklists on International releases of compilation cd
The European and Australian releases of the audio cd from "Awake: The Best Of Live" will have slightly different tracklists than the American version. On the European version, "The Distance" and "They Stood Up For Love" (acoustic) will be substituted for "Pain Lies On The Riverside" and "Pillar Of Davdison" (respectively). And on the Australian version, "Rattlesnake" will be substituted for "Pain Lies On The Riverside". Tracklist updates for this release have been updated in the Lyrics Section.
