LIVE have added two new tour dates to their upcoming schedule. The first date is scheduled for July 18th at "Chevrolet Amphitheatre" in Pittsburgh, Pennysylvania. Tickets, which are general adminssion and cost $8, went on-sale today at 10am (a link to purchase tickets has been added to the Tour Section). Doors will open at 6:30pm for this concert, with the concert slated to begin at 7:30pm. And the second date is scheduled for August 23rd at the "West Virginia Motor Speedway" in Parkersburg, West Virginia (no event or ticket info yet available). "Friends Of Live" reports that "Throwing Copper" has made it onto the final list for MTV's "Top 22 Cd's" (for which a new program will be made for, slated to air this fall on MTV). A new video interview with Ed, as well as 4 video clips of the May 23rd Amsterdam concert have been added to Holland's "BNN" website. 2 more video clips from this concert (in Amsterdam) have been added to Holland's "MSN" website as well. LIVE's performance from the June 21st Tutlingen concert will be aired tomorrow evening (July 1st) on German radio (UKW), slated to begin at 8pm (local time). I have added a mp3 of "Gas Hed Goes West" (from the 3/2/97 concert at Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) to the Featured MP3 Section. I am searching for the setlists from the June 26th Manchester show, the June 27th and June 28th London shows, and the June 29th Wolverhampton show... if you have (or know someone that has) the setlist (and/or a review) to any of these shows, please contact me! And I plan to begin replacing the current design of the site (with the new site design I have been making) by next week, so keep an eye out for that.

According to a press release on Germany's "Southside Festival" site, LIVE's performance from June 21st (in Tutlingen, Germany) will be broadcast via German radio (UKW in southern Germany) on July 1st at 8pm (local time). Tickets for the August 30th concert in Washington, DC will be available at the gate for $3. LIVE will headline this concert, with support acts from "Jonasay", "Smit-haus" and "The Verdicts". A cool mp3 of "Waitress" (unplugged version for a compilation cd) has been added to the Featured MP3 Section. A new date has been added to the TV Section... LIVE will be performing "I Alone" during a re-airing of "Saturday Night Live", to be aired on July 9th on the Comedy Central network. Setlists from the June 23rd Manchester concert and the June 24th Wolverhampton concert have been added to the Setlist & Review Section. The Live Lounge Newsletter (Issue 96) will be sent out later this evening... if you haven't subscribed yet, subscribe now! And the current poll will be extended until next week... according to the results at the time of this update, most voters (28%) would rate the video for "Heaven" as good/average.

LIVE will be performing "Lakini's Juice" during a re-airing of "Saturday Night Live" this afternoon, which will air at 5:30pm EST on the Comedy Central network. The stations offering tickets for the August 22nd concert at the "Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame" in Ohio are listed on the "Ohio Lottery" website. Some pictures from the June 21st Tutlingen concert have been posted to Germany's "Dasding" website. A featured mp3 of "White, Discussion (Sam Sever remix) has been added to the Featured MP3 Section. And a bunch of setlists and a few reviews from recent concerts have been added to the Setlist & Review Section.

LIVE are confirmed to perform at "Live On Penn" (an outdoor musical festival on the streets of Pennysylvania Avenue) in Washington, DC on August 30th. Tickets will cost $3. More info is available in the Tour Section. LIVE's record contract has supposedly been picked up by Geffen Records, as a result of MCA Records being phased out (their site is now featuring the new LIVE album and news on LIVE). There is also an interesting article on the MCA/Geffen merger on the "Reuters" website (thanks to Gertjan for this link). The July 17th Indianapolis concert will be part of "Budweiser's One Night Stand", and tickets can only be won by listening to Indianapolis' "X-103" radio station. "Heaven" has gained 12 new positions on Billboard's new "Adult Top 40 Chart", rising from #38 to #26. "Heaven" has also gained 3 positions on Billboard's new "Mainstream Rock Chart", rising from #36 to #33. A mp3 of "Run To The Water" (TLA Special Sauce Mix) has been added to the Featured MP3 Section. And I am still searching for the setlists from the June 11th Zurich concert, the June 13th Munich concert, the June 14th Imola concert, and the June 17th Kiel concert... if you have (or know someone that has) the setlist (and/or a review) to any of these shows, please contact me! The new video for "Heaven" is available for download in the LIVE Section on the "Coldfire Studios" site (requires the "Divx" codec in order to view). I have added a new interview with Ed (from yesterday's edition of the "Sunday Herlald" in Sydney, Australia) to the Recent LIVE Stuff section (thanks to Danielle of Sydney for sending me this article). Germany's "Studio Brussel" has added a new (audio) interview with Ed to their site (requires Windows Media Player). I have added a mp3 of "Deeper" (studio outtake from "The Distance To Here") to the Featured MP3 Section. And the concert slated for July 17th in Indianapolis, Indiana will be held at the "Murat Theatre" (still no info on how to win tickets yet).

South Africa's "Mail & Guardian Online" has added a new interview with Chad Gracey to their site (thanks to Cole for this link). "Birds Of Pray" has fallen 13 more spots on the new "Billboard 200" chart, falling from number #73 to #88. I have added an mp3 of "Cheetah" (studio outtake from "Throwing Copper") to the Featured MP3 Section. I have added a new date to the TV Section... LIVE will be performing "Lakini's Juice" during a re-airing of "Saturday Night Live", slated to air June 23rd on the Comedy Central network. "Billboard Magazine" and "Reuters" are both reporting that LIVE's record label, "MCA Records", will cease to exist as of next week. It is possible that LIVE could be dropped from their record contract as a result of this, and could possibly affect upcoming tour dates. "Heaven" entered Billboard's "Mainstream Rock Chart" at #36 this past week. I have added an mp3 of "Vine Street" (outtake from "The Distance To Here") to the Featured MP3 Section. I have added the setlists (as well as reviews) from the June 6th Bremen concert, the June 7th Copenhagen concert, and the June 8th Aarhus concert to the Setlist & Review Section. As announced in an update on Friday, "Friends Of Live" have confirmed that LIVE will be performing in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 17th (venue to be announced soon). This concert will also be for contest winners only (no tickets will be sold to the public). Tickets for the July 15th Chicago concert will be given away through Chicago's "Q101" radio station. Some pictures from the June 6th concert (in Bremen, Germany) are available to view here. And I am searching for the setlists from the June 6th Bremen concert, the June 7th Copenhagen concert, and the June 8th Aarhus concert... if you have (or know someone that has) the setlist (and/or a review) to any of these shows, please contact me!

I have added an mp3 of "Overcome" (acoustic version from the May 31st concert at "Forest National" in Brussels, Belgium) [recorded by Kiros] to the Featured MP3 Section. "Birds Of Pray" is featured in the review section on the "Alternative Addiction" website, where it has debuted at #7 on their "Top 10 Albums" chart ("Heaven" remains at #1 on their "Top 20 Singles" chart as well). "Birds Of Pray" has also moved up from #13 to #4 on the new Beligian album charts (and is currently at #1 on their Alternative album charts as well). I have added the setlist and a review from the June 4th concert (in Oslo, Norway) to the Setlist & Review Section. "Birds Of Pray" has risen to #1 on the new Dutch album charts, and has gone Gold in Australia and in New Zealand! "Friends Of Live" reports that the video for "Heaven" has been added to the playlist on the VH1 network (in the United States). Neila from Australia has added a new audio interview with Ed (aired on Brisbane's "Triple M" radio station) to her site. I have added a new interview with Pat Dahlheimer from the "Out On The Town Entertainment Guide" to the Recent LIVE Stuff section. I have added the setlists and reviews from the May 28th Vienna show, the May 30th Gelsenkirschen show, the June 1st Manheim show, and the June 3rd Stockholm show to the Setlist & Review Section. Guests now have permission to post in ALL of the forums on the Message Board. "The York Daily Record" newspaper has added a new article on LIVE to their website (thanks to Jen Rissinger of Pennysylvania for this link). "Birds Of Pray" has debuted at #7 on the Canadian Alternative Album Charts, at #9 on the Modern Rock Top 100 Albums, at #12 on the Canadian Album Charts, at #13 on the Belgian Album Charts, at #38 on the UK Album Charts, at #43 on the German Album Charts, and at #71 on the Swiss Album Charts. The June 17th concert originally scheduled for Neumunster has been moved to "Ostseehalle" in Kiel, Germany. Holland's "Radio 538" is holding a contest from June 2nd to June 6th, which gives the opportunity for fans to win a VIP trip to London to attend the June 28th Hyde Park LIVE show. The "Conny" website in Austria has added new photos of LIVE from the May 28th Vienna concert to their website. Marjolein van Elteren of Holland has added some pictures from the May 31st Belgium concert to her gallery. Milwaukee's "Rock 102 One" radio station will be giving away tickets to the July 15th Milwaukee concert starting today (more info is available on their site). I have added the setlist and a couple of fan reviews from the May 31st Brussels concert to the Setlist & Review Section.
