December, 2004 News

Happy New Year to everyone!
I hope everyone has a great time ringing in the new year tonight! I want to thank everyone (especially to all the members of the Message Board) for their dedication and support to this site over the past year. Here's to a good new year with hopefully many good things to happen in Live-land! * posted december 31st, 2004

Download Live's REAL first album
On August 17th, 1989 Public Affection (soon to be known as Live) released the album "The Death Of A Dictionary" on their own label, Action Front Records (which was self-financed by the band themselves). It was only released on cassette and is long out of print. However, this album appears on a bootleg titled "That's Live". Unless you have an original cassette copy of DOAD, the tracks of DOAD featured on this bootleg are the best versions that are available (quality-wise). To download the entire album and learn more about this recording, please hop on over to the Multimedia Forum (please be patient while trying to connect to the FTP server). * posted december 27th, 2004

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Pat Dahlheimer says new album will come before any more touring
The following was posted by Mike ("hawk") in the Message Board... "I was shopping this past Sat afternoon at the Wal-mart on the West side of ShitTowne. Growing tired of that spectacle, I headed for the parking lot and noticed a familiar face in the car idling by the curb. I introduced myself to the driver, Patrick Dahlheimer, and told him I was a big fan of the band. We spent about 10 minutes discussing their recent tour of Australia and Holland/Belgium and what's next for -Live-. I asked Pat if they planned on touring the states anytime soon and he said that the new album is going to happen first and perhaps they might try to do some stadium shows in the summer, but no definite plans on anything in the US." * posted december 21st, 2004
