Okay, so I'm planning on seeing Live down in Indiana tomorrow. I absolutely need to know the answer to this question before I leave.

Is it cool to wear a +Live+ shirt while attending a +Live+ concert?

first off let me say you're lucky to go see them perform as i live in SC and they don't come around here too often, but i'll keep my fingers crossed. anyway, i would think i'd be fine...... wear a ramones t-shirt if you've got one. i saw ed w/ one on once... it looked cool.

Of course! I guess it depends on your definition of "Cool", but I see a lot of fans at their shows wearing +Live+ t-shirts. The best ones are the issues to the Homespun members. By that I mean it seems like when they see each other's shirts, they tend to strike up a conversation.

Enjoy the show. We are hoping to make it up there. It will be me, my husband, my two sons, girlfriend and another Live fan. If all goes well, we will make it. Look for my son. He'll be the bald guy up by the stage!!!!! He shouldn't be hard to find. Just kidding. When we went to see Live at Vic's Theater in Chicago, bald was definitely the "in thing". Just go around and ask every bald guy you see if he's from Champaign, Illinois................ Just joking around. Best thing is to just have a great time and take every minute of Live's performance. At Vic's they were the best I've seen them after many, many years. Looking forward to this one.

I'm going to say no on this one. That's like those weird Stars Wars nerds who dress up as stormtroopers on premiere day.

...maybe not exactly the same thing, but you get the point. smile.gif

I picked up because of a live shirt once. This girl came up to me in a pub and started talking to me about it. Then the rest is history, all 30 seconds of it.

Of course it's cool .. that stupid emo type rule of not wearing the tshirt of the band you're seeing unless it's from a really old tour is just elitism shit. If you're going to a concert and your biggest concern is what other people are wearing then you shouldn't be at the concert.

Jonesy: Yes it is ma'am

Jonesy PICKS UP girl and throws her out the window

I'm not too worried about the cool factor.

I've got one on from the Birds of Pray tour.

I've got about 6 in all.

The one I got signed by the band at The Riv in Chicago
a few years back turns a lot of heads but I always feel I might get mugged. tongue.gif

I'm leaving right now for the two hour trip over.
It's supposed to be a nice night weather wise.
And with a free show it'll be even better.

Have a good time to everyone who is lucky enough to go!

peace.

its fine, like wearing your favorte team's jersey when you go to a game.

It is never ok, however, to wear the shirt of your own band.

You should just be glad that you have a LIVE shirt that fits. I can't find any my size sad.gif If I did though, I'd be wearing it all the time. Especially to their concerts!
