So i just wanted to tell everyone how wonderful life is.

Since my car was broken into a few weeks back I have been doing some serious soul-searching and philosophising and had concluded that life is grand. I have my health and my witts about me so all is good.

Tonight, they ripped the stereo out of my car, stole my $400 reading glasses and all of my Live cd's. They probably got in through the window which has yet to be fixed.

Cant remember the film but it was about a bunch of guys who hire a hooker and she ends up dying in their hotel room, and they do everything to cover it up and end up killing each other. At the end cameron diaz is left to care for the last survivng guys who are wheelchair bound vegetables, and finally realising what her life has become she runs out onto the suburban road wearing dishwashing gloves, falls to her knees and lets out a desperate cry and pulls her hair out.

Im putting on my dishwashing gloves.

Man, you just can't catch a break, can you!? Where in the heck do you live/work? Either it’s the worst neighborhood on the planet, or you’ve got some seriously bad Karma. Methinks it’s time for a change of venue… Is that a possibility?

…And the name of the movie is “Very Bad Things”.

That totally sucks. I am having a shit ass summer myself. My six year old son got sick several weeks ago and had to go on an antibiotic, had a major allergic reaction of hives. He had to be hospitalized and still has the hives. The dr. said it could take up to 6 weeks for them to go away. So in the mean time I paid in full for summer camp and they told me I cant have my money back and I have to stay home all day with my child. He cant go outside or have any physical activity because that makes the hives worse. He is 6-no chance in keeping him quiet and I live in south Florida where it is so hot, so I am rotting in my house watching Jimmy Neutron all day. For those of you without children I am telling you this is not fun. angry.gif

sad.gif Sorry to hear. Hopefully he gets well soon. Those summer camp people are evil. Damn, can't they have some heart and refund you based on the fact that your son is sick. What do they need, a doctor's note?
Or, they just don't give a what because they already got paid. no.gif

funnily enough throwing copper was left in the middle compartment. It seems even fate regards that album as a keeper!

Shit - and I thought it was rough where I live! I'd say walk to work but you'll probably get mugged on the way. I'd be very, VERY tempted to booby trap the car.

I remember my friend used to work in Liverpool and had the same kind of shit happen all the time including getting the car stolen by joyriders who I think used it for a lift home and just left it round the corner from their house as the police used to always find it in the same area. In the end she got an absolute embarrassing cheapo rust bucket of a car and left the doors unlocked - nobody nicked it after that. I remember she even had a boom box CD player she used to plug into the cigarette lighter and strap into the front seat so it wouldn't roll about - she'd just shove it in the boot out of sight or take it in the house with her.

I just hate the way we have to adjust our lives to take into account the thieving scumbags.
