Hiya all!!

I hope I'm posting this in the right section, if not, sorry!

It's been a while since I last posted here, I think I just registered before this site got updated (me and my timing!) but now, with all the exciting things going on Live-wise, I thought I'd give it another try....lol.

So, I'm Marjan, (Mari-anne, something like that in English!) from the Netherlands as you've probably noticed already, and a huge Live-fan since '98, '99. I won't even try to explain how huge, all I can say that they sort of take over my life every now and then, hehe!
Of course I've done my bit of reading on here and have always enjoyed the discussions, so now I'm just thinking about joining in if you don't mind..

So far, I've loved every album they've released, surely some more than others. TC and TDTH are still my very own personal favourites, simply because they remind me of times and things that have happened in my life. Still.. I do LOVE SFBM, with all the positivity and energy that's on it, despite the critics it's been getting from die-hard fans who seem to say that Live has lost their 'rock' status. I don't agree with that, but then again, that's the good thing about music I guess... everyone has an opinion about it and sometimes it matches yours, and sometimes it just doesn't! It's still Live after all and they still know how to gain new fans, which is pretty remarkable after all these years!

Reading the threads about Paradiso and Live's succes in Holland has warmed me up for the concert in the Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam, in June where I'll be going. I've seen them 3 times before, in 2001 and 2002, so not recently and I'm really looking forward to go see them again finally. And maybe.. (MAYBE I said!) I'll be going to see them in Manchester or Birmingham, in the UK too...!! Some of my closest friends are English and I've been travelling up and down to the UK many times over the last few years. After trying to get my friends over there 'into' Live a bit more (a good question also; why is the UK still a fairly 'unexplored' area for Live, or am I wrong there?) one of my friends got the hint... and 'suggested' we could go see them if they came to play there! She loves SFBM (I kindly sent her a copy as soon as it came out here!) so she can't wait either to see who these guys from Pennsylviania really are...

So now I'm wondering; Is there anyone on here who is equally as crazy and travels the world (though it's just a one hour flight to England for me of course ) to see them in concert?
And are there by any chance any English fans posting on here? (I know there are a few, I just 'met' someone the other day!) I'd like to get in touch with them to find out if anyone has ever been to a concert of Live in the UK and what it was like.

Anyway, it'll be nice to get to know you all, wherever you are!
