I am particularly curious about whether Dan's opinion has changed. Dan posted his initial reaction to the album after he first heard it and I wonder whether he likes it more now than he did then.

To tell you the truth, I haven't listened to it since I first got it, but I have since accepted that Live have moved on and even though it is probably my least favorite Live album, it is still a decent pop album.

[By the way, have I missed something or has anyone else noticed that many of the negative posts and flame antagonists have been quiet for a few weeks. It's been pretty nice around here lately!]

I banned Mets and Lettuce until futher notice, so that right there made a huge difference. strawberry.gif

I couldn’t agree more - when I first got it I called my brother (who introduced me to Live) almost hysterical because I didn’t like it at all. Now it’s all I listen too – I love it! Its makes me proud to be a fan

SFBM is 100% what I would expect from Live. After 1 ok cd, and 1 good CD, we finally got a great CD. The more I listen, the more I like it too. At first I thought Wings, Sophia, and Where Do We go From Here were ok, but now I love all of them. Show is a masterpiece, Sophia is awsome. I don't skip one single song.

I agree with most people here. The first time I listened, I ended up with "...That's it?". Now? I LOVE it. Sure, it's not Live's best album, but it's good anyway.

What's changed most for me, is how much I like the songs. While "Wings" was one of my favorites at first, it's now become my 4th least favorite on the album. Also, I used to skip "Show" whenever I listened to it. Now, it's my 2nd favorite off the album. I thought I loved "You Are Not Alone" at first, but now I dont like it nearly as much as other songs on the album". Same with "All I Need". "Sofia" has decreased for me as well.

I guess your opinion just changes the more you listen to an album.

For me, this is the worse album for Live. I'm a singer so vocals is the most important thing to me and on this album, Ed does nothing to make me go wow.gif happy.gif I gotta try that like on other albums. Its just so lukewarm and boring. I really tried to like it but I'm sad to say I don't. Nothing really grabs me and stand out. Thank God for Sophia though, it is the only thing that saves this album.

I must say though that the songs sound 10 times better in concert. And that I'm looking forward to the next album. Hopefully it comes sooner than later. Live should seriously think of going indie. I refuse to believe this great band is contented to release lukewarm pop songs. I know they can do so much better.
