Mark Tremonti is a kick ass guitar player

Thats about all I can agree on with you on your little Creed post. I think Ed and Tremonti are friends or at least once were. I read in an old guitar magazine how they were discussing something over dinner somewhere.

nod.gif He has one of the best vocal range in the history of rock period. Plus he's sooo hot!!!!

Best vocal range in the history of rock? Lol... ok...

He really doesnt have that amazing a range, and his extreme ranges are not very good... Not to say that he's bad, I used to like him, but I absolutely loathe the latest Audioslave album. (His voice on it hurts my head quite substantially)

I'm really not in to grunge... I like STP, AIC and PJ but none of them would make my top 50 bands or anything.

Nirvana is for angry 10-13 year olds.

I'm surprised that Nirvana, easily the grunge band of the masses, isn't leading this poll.

Hmm.. no Screaming Trees?

Nirvana not in the lead? That's becaue here, we aren't the masses... we have good taste. nod.gif

And thanks to the people who mentioned Creed, that's 5 years of anger management classes down the drain. *foams at mouth... hits something* AAAARRRGH!

Stone Temple Pilots- not just a grunge band!! Love every bit of their music.

Also, check out this- I'd heard stories of how good Pearl Jam used to be live, but saw their DVD from 2000 and was unimpressed (relatively speaking, they still kick most other bands)...this older video was a pleasant surprise however:

Besides that, Ten is probably one the best albums ever.

Soundgarden- love them heaps on record but Chris seems quite static from live footage I've seen.

Nirvana, Alice In Chains- great stuff too but not a patch on the above, imho.

Another great band from the grunge period: Ugly Kid Joe...some funky riffs from those guys and they had chops too.

And what about Smashing Pumpkins?!

But anyway...STP is my favourite smile.gif

I wouldn't put Smashing Pumpkins in with Grunge, and I don't see how Ten is one of the best albums ever. Good debut though.
