I was overwhelmed with all the positive feed back after last weeks Instagram show. I had no idea it would be as much fun as it was or that it would translate as well as it did. I loved playing for you guys and I also like the idea of introducing you to some of my favorite people. So, deciding to do it again this week was a no brainer. Most of you already knew Christopher but unless you’re a die hard Jeff Buckley fan, you might not know Gary Lucas. Gary was who helped get Jeff off the ground early on in his career. He even wrote the music behind 2 of my favorite songs; “Mojo Pin” and “Grace”. Listen to the intros of both of these songs and it’ll all make sense. Gary wrote those crazy, now iconic, riffs. For those who know me, know what a huge deal Jeff Buckley is to me. We’ll talk about that as well as Gary’s time with Captain Beefheart and numerous other projects. The guy is a wizard and someone I’m lucky enough to call a friend. Set a reminder and share this with all your fellow Buckley fans and we’ll see you Friday at 9pm(est) on INSTAGRAM. I’ll start by playing a new song or two of mine and might even attempt to play a Buckley tune OH! and like before, if y’all have any questions for Gary, let’s hear ‘em here in the comments.

I didn't really watch much of it. I didn't hear any Live stuff - seemed to me Chris focused on his guest.

Interesting CT said on his live stream he’d like a Līve documentary. We kind of already had one from Throwing Copper days. Wasn’t it called “The Story of Līve”? I know it’s within the depths of YouTube. Haven’t watched it in al long time, but I recall them going to their York high school & talking to the music teacher. Anyway, I guess that one is property of MTV, and since it was such a long time ago, a new updated story would be really cool.

As far as merch goes, a Līve bandana or face mask would be a hit right now.

It was called "Past, Present and Future". That was the name of the one done by MTV.

"The Story of Live" was created by MuchMusic. It might have used some of the same footage though.

Saw that Stone Temple Pilots are going to perform Core album in its entirety on PPV and think this is a cool idea. If Līve did that, I’d definitely purchase. I feel they would choose the safe Throwing Copper, but can you imagine how cool MJ, SS, or TDTH would be?
