Tomorrow I'll be seeing Live for about the 10th time (give or take). I'll admit my expectations are pretty low, and I'm probably more interested in seeing Our Lady Peace and Bush than Live. I'm okay with that. As I've grown and Live has not (musically), they truly have become a "Legacy Act" as far as I'm concerned, and frankly I'm okay with that. Sure, it would blow my mind if they unveiled a hidden gem, but I know the chances of that are a big fat zero.

This will be my first time seeing Live since 2013 and first time with Ed since 2008, and even by then the magic had started to fade since the first time I saw them in 2000 in Peoria, IL. Hopefully, with the help of some inebriation, I can be taken back to a time when Live truly meant something to me and gave me a sense that there was something bigger than me, and more magical out in the world, or in a level of being that I could attain to.

I'll be watching the show with my 6 yr old son who was about 8 months old when I took him to his first Live show (back in 2013), so hopefully I can see a glimmer of that magic that I've since lost. We will see, and ALWAYS let the good times roll.
