I have noticed that Live have slowed the tempo of their songs during this reunion tour, and the songs sound better than ever. Particularly, The Dolphin's Cry, Lightning Crashes, and I Alone are much improved. Anyone else notice this?

No, haven't noticed, the duration of the songs are still the same it seems.

I'm pretty sure Chad mentioned having to learn how to play the songs slower (again) at some point, possibly way back when they first started touring with Chris. Anybody else remember that?

Yeah, that vaguely rings a bell. All Over You at the Paradiso is very fast.

I'm sure he means he had to learn them slow at first. Start slow, then work back in the groove of playing them on a regular basis and at normal speed.

No Chad did say during the CS era that they had to learn how to play the songs at the right speed again, and I'm pretty sure he even mentioned the paradiso dvd as an example of how fast their playing had become. All in an effort to squeeze more hits into a set. Thank god they've slowed down!
