Ed's fragile overinflated sense of self .

How do you figure Ed had a specially "fragile," and "over-inflated" sense of self?

Siren's Call written in 1997/1998? No wonder it rocks!

Chris said that they spent a lot of time and effort with Jerry Harrison and the band working on that track, so I'm sure there were a lot of changes from the version that Chad provided from his tapes.

I also learned that Kevin Martin basically ditched The Gracious Few to return to Candlebox when things weren't going so well for the band.

KM very much wants to do another TGF record... i have heard that directly from his lips. Its all about having the time and schedules working out. Fingers crossed.

Chris may have been doing the drugs early on but I think in Chad's response to FOL's letter he said they abstained until around Secret Samadhi...who knows?

This is the same guy who made Ed squirm, right? I was hoping he would throw some hardballs, like a response to Ed's rolling stone interview, outcome of the lawsuit, where is our damn unreleased track for signing up to the newsletter (j/k), etc.

That is not at all what was said. Just talked to Kevin last night, and they will be working on finishing up new TGF material in February. TGF is a side project for all those guys, not just Kevin. Priorities lie elsewhere.

I didn't watch the videos but did one of them mention drugs? A few times I've thought The Turn's lyrics were drug-related. Especially Siren's Call - sounds like he is fighting addiction in that one.

Yeah....does sound drug related: Siren's Call - "Crack of your whip, taking the Hit[i]"

Siren's Call lyrics are so vague, I don't see how it can pinned to mean drugs.

Besides, Chris was referring to drugs in the same breath as talking about First Aid, like 30 years ago, seems like he might be talking about experimenting, not being addicted.

i think the lyrics could be about anything you're drawn to/having a hard time avoiding

That's cool!

It did mention on the headlines at Gracious Fans that TGF were hoping to finish a second album 2 years ago.

Maybe that's why Chad uploaded great houses. Never liked how similiar the opening riff was to trecedim but its alright.
