So it's been 6 days now and I've been listening to the album a couple of time and to be honest I'm having a hard time enjoying it.

It's certainly not superior to Ed's latest solo effort and it's far, far, far from being as good as The Gracious Few eponymous album.

I'm not saying it's shit. I guess it's a matter of tastes but the music simply don't do it for me.

I've been discovering a bunch of "new" bands within the last 12 months. Most of them put out a new record this year. I'm talking about Rival Sons, The Brew (UK), The Gaslight Anthem, Prime Circle...

All of them are creative in their own way. I'm amazed by the overall quality of their music, especially the Rival Sons where each word, note or beat seems so meaningful to me.

That's what I'm after right now and I can't find it in Live's recent effort.

I'm happy to see that other die-hard fans seem to enjoy the new music and I wish them well.
For my own perspective, I'll be "Turning" myself to better bands.

Farewell.

Indeed it is a matter of taste. I find Rival Sons very generic and not rock. Live is 100 times better.
