"The Turn is a concept as old as Shakespeare. I learned about this fundamental element of story telling working on film scripts & thought it might make an interesting subject for music. The Turn typically happens at the end of the second act. It’s the ah-ha moment when we realize exactly what the story has been leading towards. It’s a reveal that shows us that our heroes might actually be the villains or vice versa. It’s in that very moment that things finally make sense regardless of the outcome or resolution. Our goal was to write music that reflected this reveal rather than the moments before or after. Despite the potential despair, confusion or even samadhi, there is a certain warmth and finality to this moment; it’s both the tender kiss of a realized love; or the betrayal of a knife in the back," said LIVE guitarist Chad Taylor

Pretty telling on how the band feels about the split. It's a new chapter sons!

So are they releasing this themselves, completely (via ThinkLoud or something)? They added some VIP packages to the pledge site. I really prefer to buy this on vinyl. Does anyone know if that will be an option, or are they going CD/digital only?

$16.99, is that price right? I don't think I've ever seen an album in iTunes for more than $12.99 and those usually are "deluxe" versions with 4 or 5 extra tracks...

It's US $9.99 on the US iTunes store.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-way-a...ugh/id919107445

$14.99 on the Google Play store (I think that's US dollars)

Prices will fluctuate until the release day. If you purchase it from Amazon then they will charge you their lowest price.

The easiest way to get the album is by pledging $10 for "Access Pass"
http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/live

You will get a digital download of the album and you can also download TWAIT and Siren's Call right now.

hooray!!!! I was getting worried that I would have to buy a CD again for the first time in years. I hate buying MP3. I would prefer vinyl and/or lossless audio. Glad they are making this an option.

I'm glad the guys are as big of fans of The Prestige as I am. That paragraph is taken almost word by word from the movie.

Thanks! I was shocked to see $16.99 last night, but since it's $9.99 this morning, I might go ahead and preorder now!
