Does anyone have any thoughts or feelings about an alt rock lead singer being fired from his band?

Not sure how I can be "terminated" from a band that I founded, fronted and co-wrote many of its biggest hits, but that’s something for the lawyers to figure out. According to their website "For Immediate Release: (February 27th, 2013) Stone Temple Pilots have announced they have officially terminated Scott Weiland"

It's the only thing on the whole site. Hard to "boost ticket sales" when the band has no lead singer and isn't touring.

Yea I know. I'm not saying I don't think he was fired. I was just saying what scott said. I thought it seemed weird when I heard scott saying he wasn't fired.
