Here's a link to the photo Hobbsy was talking about.

This pic was taken when Unified Theory opened for Live on their TDTH tour in 2000.

Still taking pot shots. Let's see how new Live's popularity holds up to Live with Ed Kowalczyk.

While I think this is a great photo; unless Ed is still somehow hurting the LiVe guys behind the scenes in some way we don't know about I am just so over the drawn out conflict - let it go already, move on Ed lost his friends and many fans - why facilitate the arguments more with these cheap insults on Facebook ?

It's sad. Disappointing all around.

But I do think that's an epic photo...and surprisingly profound when viewed in context.

One, I don't think the photo post is that big of a deal. More ironic than anything. Two, those that hold Ed in such a position of deity will never understand the views of those that don't. In fact, that is exactly the problem. Ed holds himself that level, or at least treated his bandmates that way. The remaining Ed fans all seem to hold the same view, that he is/was the soul of Live. It's a slight to the others. People are still doing it by trying to minimize anything they do without Ed, including their business ventures. You can like Ed all you want, but he is no saint, and he's no better than anyone else because he sang Lightning Crashes. That does not somehow erase his long standing track record of behavior to the others which most believe is the root cause of Live's demise.

CCP aren't Saints either(unless Mother Theresa took pot shots at others on twitter and Facebook).

No, they aren't. The point is, if Ed fans want others to look past the things that they find objectionable then Ed fans should too. The photo and post is really not that big of a deal.

Well, if the tables were turned and say that CT left the band for example and the pic was of a new guitarist and Chad holding his hand with a description of it saying the same thing oh yeah...it would be a huge DEAL. HUGE.

No, but it was far from a classy move. If CCP want to move on with Live without Ed, than they should stop mentioning Ed.

The picture is ironic and it happened. Have no problem with the post because it does symbolize the change in the band.

If anyone should be upset by it I'd say Shinn. That skirt and hairdoo are best left forgotten.

It was classy.

It was funny, relevant and unbelievably ironic.

I don't expect Ed fans would like it - tough luck I guess.

But Live is continuing with a new lead singer. Fact. And Ed has moved on. Fact.

Will their popularity hold up Nick? - who knows and quite frankly who cares?

I'm sure you'll be providing us with all of the finer details such as album sales and concert attendance when the time comes.

I'm just really looking forward to the new music and the new beginnings.
