"Simple Creed" and "Voodoo Lady" were added into the setlist at last nights concert in Chicago. Only bad thing was that "Simple Creed" took the place of "Rattlesnake".

Nooooo! Voodoo lady, get rid of it!!! It's still old it got played for that long in the 99-2003 era.

Simple creed is a good addition but. Looks like they are bringing back all the old openers. That can only mean one thing,WHERE FISHES GO!!!

No, the other version hehe.gif

I must admit I'd much rather see Rattlesnake than Simple Creed or WFG as the opener, I wouldn't complain but I'm dying to hear Rattlesnake again .. but that being said, Simple Creed was a great opener in 2001, kicked the show off with some great energy.
Hopefully they'll play 2 nights in Melbourne and open the shows with both of them on different nights.

I've already vented my feelings about Rattlesnake/Simple Creed in the 'on the road' section under Chicago concert so I'll just shut up about it.

Voodoo Lady was the only other addition that they hadn't played at any other shows so far.
It's a cool sexy song and I've always enjoyed the line 'light up a cigarette she said and calm the fuck down you've got a serious side to you that could give the whole world a frown'.

Love the thump of Pat's bass during the song.

this is hardly mixing up a set-list... adding or subtracting a song or two from a pre-scripted set is not the height of creativity, especially when you have so many albums to choose from...

don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the Philly show, btu we are not talking about the pre-eminent touring band here who will break out anything and everything from night-to-night...

We never said Live was one of the most creative bands when it comes to arranging a setlist. However, they have tried to treat fans to songs that they haven't heard in years at the recent shows. I think it is awesome what they have been doing and I hope to see it continue. I can't find anything to complain about when it comes to that.

Our standards have been squashed to the ground by watching them play the same set for almost two years now. When they throw us a bone like Rattlesnake - or Iris for fuck's sake, that we've been begging for since 2000, we freak out. (I feel like this doesn't need to be explained on this board ... )
