The Fire Tonight (My band) Update, Upcoming EP and free tunes Options

The old thread was a bit crusty, so I thought I'd make a new one since I know +ed+ likes our music.

We are planning to release our next EP on July 4th, the birthday of America. It's called SpacE buX[b]. It has three (or four0 songs that are very summer-time-ey and very rock and roll. We tend to slingshot from style to style, so we are moving from moody piano rock on the last thing to full-on classic/punk/pop rock on this one. It's a bit of a fun response to our first three releases which were all pretty serious business.

In support of that EP our last release ...And Then You Were Gone, is now completely pay-what-you-want, so yes that means free if you feel like it. It's dark, weird, recorded completely in mono and mastered in analog, and probably too personal for all of us. I like it, but if you haven't heard our music yet start with the Sabotage Me EP.

I play drums, produce, and I wrote one of the songs on this EP (Bleed for Nothing).

Ed, you really think so? I know you listened to the other stuff so that is some high praise.

Thanks so much!! Better than Maroon 5? Really appreciate the sharing, that's what keeps our world going around these days! That's why we let people get it for free if they want!

AOM, our first release was a full album and it damn near wore us out, ever since we've decided to stick to EPs and single releases. Quality over quantity I suppose. Our recording budget is determined by whatever $$$ we make on each release, so hey if we sold a ton we could very well try for a full album again!

Ed, THANK YOU. That is a huge compliment. We've really been enjoying just doing whatever the hell we want.
