I'm not as excited as I have been about previous seasons, I'll still watch it, but I think so many other shows for me have surpassed Breaking Bad that it has just become a nice "fill in the gaps" show for me while I wait for other things. I like the implication that Walt will step into the role of the king pin now that a power vacuum has been created, could create some interesting things. I wonder if it'll follow the past few seasons trends where the first 2 episodes will hit the ground running, then there will be a 4-5 episode lull where you want to blow your brains out because you're sick of watching Walt JR eating breakfast and fat Skyler waddling about. Then it slowly starts to build towards the end where the last 2 episodes have you climbing the walls with tension.

I still think it peaked early on though, that episode which finished with Walt running desperately with the briefcase to make it on time and the one where he's trapped in the RV with Hank outside was just intense. Now all Hank does is sit and collect minerals which seems like its gone on forever.

Either way, looking forward to seeing what they can cook up (no pun intended!)

That was an intriguing opener. I especially like the future look of Walt at the beginning... really says a lot about where his character is headed.
