I'm extremely surprised Wings is being chosen as the next single. Oh well, I was extremely surprised The River was the first single too, so I guess I should've seen it coming. lol.gif

This song is a better choice than The River. And LIVE has made far worse single choices before. Based on their track record, I was waiting for "You Are Not Alone," or "Love Shines," which might have been decent, but most mainstream radio stations wouldn't play it due to the Jesus religious reference, or the cheesey (songs for my daughters about god) in the title.

Even though this is one of two songs on the album that I actually like (other is Show), I don't think it should be a single.

I want to know who's Live Manager and doesn't he give a fuck about all that shit thats been happening with Live lately. Isn't it his job to steer things in the right direction, and make sure everything goes smoothly. I mean, when is the album releasing in the US again? Or is it all the band being just lazy as some people said? I just don't know. Is it Epic's fault? Whatever, I'm just dissapointed and looking for answers I can't get.
Ah well......I still love them though sad.gif

Awww... too bad most of you feel it's not the right choice, I for one really L.O.V.E. the song... so I'm more than happy that this is the new single!

I just hope the video will do the song justice.

You can look up the management in the booklets if you care. I'm not in the music bizz but for what I can telll, choosing singles and setting release dates is up to the label. Management takes care of the recording, touring and promotional efforts in the best interest of the band. I don't think you, me or any fan is qualified to judge their work, simply because we don't have all the information.

As I said, Wings is not bad, but they just should release a kick ass single, that everyone talk about etc, come on!

I mean, since RTTW....or let's say, Overcome I don't think a general music listener can tell me which songs Live released lately

"Heaven? Runaway? Runaway-Shelbywhat'syournameagain, The River... Never heard of them" sarcasm.gif

EDIT:

or actually I tried to say....
just release Like I do, NOW! dammit!!
don't care it's from an album that's released 3 years ago, THAT could have been a kick ass single with a kick ass video

As of now Wings is only the single in the Netherlands. A totally different market than the US. I bet the song will do well.
