If you had to create a 22-25 song setlist for upcoming shows using only the first 4 albums and B-Sides what it be? I'm been thinking about what mine would be and will post later. Just seeing what everyone else thinks

It was very difficult to make. I have chosen 25 songs, the setlist is a little bit too long, but these songs are my 25 favorites of the first 4 albums.

Yes, I realized there are certain songs such as Lightning Crashes I left off. The reason being is I honestly feel that I could go to a +LIVE+ show and be perfectly happy not hearing it played. Yes, I love the song and it is a sacred song amongst the band and fans alike, I just feel it doesn’t have to be played. I have no certain order to the songs as I listed them by album and outtake, the order of songs takes a little longer, give a guy some time smile.gif

I don't need to hear Lightning Crashes, I only included it because I know that it will likely never get left off of the setlists.

I'd like a setlist similar to this. I put an asterisk by songs I wouldn't mind being removed and replaced with new songs. Oddly enough it was mostly TDTH songs.

Mental Jewelry:

1. Water Song*

Throwing Copper:

1. The Dam at Otter Creek*
2. I Alone*
3. Iris
4. T.B.D
5. Stage
6. Pillar of Davidson
7. White Discussion

Secret Samadhi:

1. Rattlesnake*
2. Lakini’s Juice
3. Heropyschodreamer
4. Freaks
5. Gas Hed Goes West
6. Ghost
7. Graze

The Distance to Here:

1. Sparkle*
2. They Stood Up For Love
3. Voodoo Lady*
4. Run to the Water*
5. Where Fishes Go

Outtakes:

1. Vine Street*
2. Hold Me Up

I wouldn't call this my "ultimate" list but this is what I came up with.

8) Freaks
---
9) Mirror Song
10) Good Pain
11) Iris
12) We Deal In Dreams
13) Gas Hed Goes West

+BREAK+ (cause they're gonna friggin' need it if they're playing 20+ songs)

2nd Set

1) The Dam At Otter Creek
2) Vine Street
3) All Over You
4) Hold Me Up
---
5) Feel The Quiet River Rage
6) Where Fishes Go

I only have one bone to pick. Songs like Lightning Crashes and Dance With You are not closing songs. It pissed me off when I saw Live and they closed with a song like that. You want to end the concert with a rocker. End it with a song that can go into a hard rocking jam. Send the crowd out of the venue to their cars thinking, "Damn that rocked!" You can't send them out on a slow song, it takes away from that feeling as you are leaving the venue.
