Good to see that Live has younger fans. eyebrow.gif
I'm 17 and turn 18 in April.
The most people in my are don't like Live..the most of my friends listen to that crappy pop...
The most young people listen to that crappy pop...i hate it...i love Live and it's good news that more young people discover the spirit of Live.

I'm turning 27 this year, joined the board in 2002, scary. But back then most people my age at least knew OF Live, most now have forgotten they exist and if I bring them up they go "oh yeah..." but you're right, I've gone back to uni this year and there are 18yr olds around me and I'm sure if I brought up Live they would not have a clue who they were. That's why I say its pointless worrying about sales and charting and all that jazz, Live, Ed, TGF - none of them should be about that anymore. They're all set up, just focus on making music for anyone who will listen. Work within your means, don't play the fame game, leave that for who "the kids" want these days.

With that being said, I'd like to think I'm no old fuddy duddy yet! One lesson my Dad taught me was - if you haven't discovered at least one new band that you like every couple of weeks at least, then you're not trying hard enough. There is a world of music out there to be discovered, in all styles and genres of all ages.

Thanks to my dad i've discovered Live.

I don't like house music and r&B and all that shit. Rock is my genre.
I'm probably the only one in my area but thats ok. On this board i can talk about Live. i'm happy with that. smile.gif

Agreed..There's a lot to be discovered..but it's a shame that a lot of people haven't discovered Live yet!

On another note: how GRAND it is that we all got to know Cbox. Most of us never heard of em before TGF or their tour with Live in 2008.

Thank god.

I love Kevin Martin.

I joined this Forum april 2006 and started to listen to +LIVE+ in 2001 (Being at the age of 42).
I am more interested in +LIVE+ music than my age-brothers an -sisters.
Have seen a couple of interseting performances and am a great fan of +LIVE+.
The new +LIVE+ (2.0) (is and) will be great.

I love your use of the word 'grand', people in Ireland said that all the time with their thick irish accents, and now here's the russian saying it, and it blows my mind every time you do haha

But you're right, CBox are basically unknown in Australia too, and anything Shinn has been in is completely unknown, would have had no exposure to either of them.

And not to mention all the great people we've met from knowing this band, I've made some fantastic friends through here, and some that have left the board, but still, for the majority of you (heh heh) it's a whole world full of people who I would gladly share a beer with if I'm in their area or they're ever in mine.
