Hynes said Taylor, Gracey and Dahlheimer own and control the Live name. He added that the three members reached out to Kowalczyk as they searched for a new lead singer but didn't hear back from him. Emails sent to Kowalczyk's press contacts were not returned by late Tuesday.

Ed can't respond to CCP but he sure as hell can contact them when he needs someone to help promote his charity.

People use and abuse religion and religious beliefs to their advantage everyday.....just another sad case and point. Someday I hope for everyone that all 4 guys can sit down together and at least come to some kind of resolution for the benefit of themselves. In the mean time, lets just move on I'm ready to hit the road to York, PA. Monday come on hurry up and get here.

But you'd think if he wasn't returning their calls that he hasn't forgiven them (not that there is much to forgive in my mind). Returning their calls or speaking with them to try and repair the friendship doesn't automatically mean he comes back to Live. You'd hope maybe they could get to a point where they are on decent terms but still don't work together.

That's the whole point none of us need to act like we know the whole story.....I think most of us know where the truth lies in this story, but to know exactly what has happened we only know what we have been told. We all want to see these 4 guys eventually work on things to be able to coexist again and make great music and at the very least just collaborate as friends. I for one support CT, CG, and PD and all their endeavors and wish EK well in whatever he decides to do. The music EK is doing is simply not for me, I was open-minded enough to give it a try (which is more than I am sure many on here did) but his current musical direction is not for me in the least.

As for the statement made by Nick that they don't have to work together musically, this is true, but I think the hardest pill for all of us to swallow as long-time fans is, how can one guy throw away a friendship that lasted since they were kids. This point has been belabored enough, but it's just hard to understand as +LIVE+ simply was a band that was different than most in that it was comprised of members who basically grew up mentally, physically, spiritually, and musically together. Sure people grow and change and life moves on, but true friendship never dies. I lost my best friend nearly a decade ago and do anything to at least pick up the phone and say hello.

Sure all of this is moot point now as +LIVE+ is pushing forward and EK is doing what he wants to do musically. For those who think that this incarnation of +LIVE+ will be a failure, that is fair enough that is your right. With that said I for one can't wait until Monday gets here as I am one of the lucky long-time fans who gets to see the beginning of a new life for our favorite band.

Yes and there is always a cause to this, usually one person does something so bad that it forces the break. In this case it was EK's lies and stealing.
