Can't believe they are going to my old haunt Winston-Salem right after I leave. I would have actually been able to party with the guys all night long!

An EPK for the new album.

35 seconds into the video one of FishOutaWater's pics gets used (the one of Kevin Martin).

The second song they play in that clip sounds really interesting, though I fear this album is going to bring the rock a lot less than I really want it to.

Surprisingly Im not all that excited about this album as I was w/ "Into The Sun". It could be one of many reasons...

TGF completely blowing me away and exceeding ALL expectations (this includes besting every CB album)
The new record featuring re-recorded classics. wtf is this for?
The first single (albeit while good) is nowhere near great. ("Stand" and "A Kiss Before" were much stronger singles)

BUT im still listening to this thing on release day and cant wait to buy it. music.gif

That's something i'm curious about, for the CB fans (as I still am very raw on their material), how would you stack TGF's album against the CB ones? We know here that the general consensus with TGF vs Live material is that most people here seem to put TGF above at least 3 Live albums. Where does TGF fit in for you in regards to the CB material?

My favorite Canblebox album will always be the debut (for many reasons) followed by Into The Sun, Lucy and then Happy Pills.

I rank TGF over all of those. I never thought I would say that when Kevin announced the project in the summer of 2009 (in fact, I was against it) -- but song for song TGF's debut beats out the first Candlebox in a landslide.

Again, these are just my opinions...

I am not the greatest Cbox fan in the world for sure, but it is pretty hard to compare I must say. TGF ranks veru good as an ALBUM while Cbox has numerous tracks (Like "Cover me" etc) that rank among the classics of the world music history. Hard to compare really
