Uggh, Where to begin?

1) Most of those songs, to the best of my knowledge, aren't Christian gospel songs.
2) Shouldn't he have closed it with grace instead lightning crashes? I mean, considering his new stuff is his rejuvenation and all?
3) Flo Rida certainly isn't Christian Gospel

So I guess Ed didn't "touch himself" with this performance.

To play 3 songs that he was either the lead singer on, or a part of is a bit arrogant.

Not if you are using the time to promote your upcoming area concert.

I don't think its so terrible to play some of your own stuff if you're trying to get a bit of promotion in but AGAIN with Lightning Crashes? There is just something sad about continually falling back and relying on a track released 17 years ago! As terrible as they are, play your new stuff, if you have faith in it, then more than one of your own songs.
Besides that, most of his list is pretty terrible IMO. Surprised to see him pick something like Mastodon though.

Wrong. I just looked through the other guests and most of them play their own tracks.

eg Adele (2 songs), Jakob Dylan (2 songs).

then i stand corrected. Guess it's more of a promotional spot for artists than really putting themselves in a DJ's shoes.

I frankly remember the ct & pd podcasts where they presented other bands artists and nothing from themselves.

I think Adele is refreshing compared to the onslaught of complete shit that is considered "popular".

I imagine her songs being overplayed is probably rubbing people the wrong way though.

As far as Ed goes, even though he refuses to, I will let his new music speak for him.
