First album was fun. Toxicity was epic. Steal this album wasn't bad. Mesmerize was...fairly crap, but had some good songs. Hypnotize was crap.

The thing that annoyed me was Daron's excessive vocals on the last two albums. If he had kept his mouth shut some of the music wouldn't have annoyed me so much.

But 'complex, unbelievable drumming'? Sure he's good, perfectly believable though. I see SOAD as prog for the mainstream- music that seems spastic and crazy but with some sort of commercial appeal so people can feel ok about liking them around their friends.

Personally, I'm not really sure I'd call Toxicity "epic". I don't think it's awful, but I wasn't all that impressed by it, and I don't really think "epic" is appropriate for it. It has been a while since I listened to it, though.
