Snow Patrol Options

I didn't see a thread about them but was wondering what you guys thought of Snow Patrol cuz I got their A Hundred Million Suns cd for Christmas so I've been listening to the songs on there. my favorite rite now is Crack the Shutters which is on their myspace page but I was looking on Youtube and saw the video for it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=942tk_Y1bUE looked pretty cool too. anyway sorry for rambling but just wanted to share a song I really like and seein what you guys think of it.

You know what, I adore the lead singer's voice and at one point a few years ago I thought they showed some real potential to be a decent band.

But they copped out and turned into Coldplay. They seem very limited to the songs they can write and regurgitate about 4 or 5 concepts - Crack The Shutters sounds really similar to Chocolate.

I don't know as much about Snow Patrol, but from what I do, I pretty much agree with this. Came on the scene, seemed like they could have been something, but then they kind of merged into the rest of the scene.

Only song I ever heard from them is Run. It's a good song, but didn't excite me enough to check out anymore of their stuff. What else is worth checking out?

Not bad. Out of the two songs, I'd say Shut Your Eyes is the one I liked more.

A very good start if you don't know the band (I haven't heard anything from them until 2 days ago when I downloaded this show !!!). Killer sound and performance. I can't stop listening to it now.

It's a two and a half acoustic show. There's an orchestra in the background. So beautiful.
