Hopefully longer than Ed's "mandatory Friday blog" hehe.gif

Stop shitting on things before they even happen, rather than saying "oh cool we'll get some podcasts" you jump right on in to trying to find a negative. If you're not excited to hear what they might come up with on a podcast then why the hell are you here since you're not a fan and all?

edit: Also, loved hearing about some of your favorite underrated Live songs in the other thread! Ah that's right, most of the songs mentioned there you probably don't even know.

The Friday blog was updated pretty reguarly, before the dawn of Facebook and twitter. A weekly podcast containing the music of Candlebox, STP etc does not sound all that intriguing. now that any music we want to listen to is only a mouse click away. An occasional podcast from tour may be cool, but weekly doesn't seem needed.

I post here the same reason you post in Ed threads, we are members of the FansofLive community(for better or worse).

Are you serious. I'm sorry but Facebook and Twitter were "alive" and thriving well before Ed created his neglected site.

Mandatory blog Friday lasted about 5 weeks - and thanks Ed for all the cool new stuff you've been leaving on the site for us.

Nick - you are a tool.

What you have pointed out right there, is the double standards in full swing! There is always a reason as to why it's ok for Ed to do something but why it's not ok for CCP to do so.

I gotta say I'm excited about the podcast, I remember when Pat did a couple of little podcast things and played some music and talked for a bit, that was pretty cool. Yes Nick, music is available at the click of a finger anywhere but the point of this is they might play some stuff that you don't know or aren't aware of. Pat played some things that I didn't know, like that Chicken Foot song, I had no idea who Chicken Foot were and I thought it was really cool. It's great sometimes getting the input from the people in the band whom you follow.
If you don't think it'll be interested, then fuck off, thanks for your opinion and go and follow a band you actually like.
I'm all for it, and if it lasts a few weeks and runs out of steam (probably) then so what, we might still get a few good podcasts out of it.

They might play an unreleased Live track which, of course, Dangum will have ripped within seconds for us all to enjoy time and time again. You never know!

Hey dipshit, facebook has been around since 2004. In fact, I've been a member since 2005. Twitter has been around since 2006.

Nice try.

On topic - I'm ready to see this new site.

Wondering if they will charge a fan club fee and if it will have it's own forum?

Proof enough that you're only here to shit over anything the band wants to do. Rest my case.

If we're comparing it to Ed's site I'll take the over.

Well I hope you all had fun in that exchange. I know it's hard for some people but please keep on topic and abstain from personal attacks. I will be taking a harder line on this from now on.

Ed wasn't using either social network site when he created the mandatory blog. Once he found twitter/FB he focused his updates to those sites.

Zach and Miri is on comedy central. bleeped like crazy, but whatever. Hold Me Up. I'm really hoping it's the freebie we get. That scene is coming up.
I'm super pumped! (not about what'shisfatuglyname having sex with Elizabeth Banks, but about the song)

Hard to imagine it being Hold Me Up, after this long it would just be weird to be given away as a freebie to website subscribers. Not that I would have a problem with it being that though!
